The year was 1984. Allan and Ann Garrett and their son, Matthew, disappeared without a trace. Now, nearly four decades later, the family is still missing and the case has gone cold. You must enter their old abandoned house, search for clues, and hopefully unravel the mystery to; Whatever happened to the Garretts?

This is a unique storyline with a fun twist. For the most part, the puzzles flowed well. There were a few times that we were a little confused about what to do next, but I think this room is above average, and it's worth a visit.

Fun easter eggs if you have watched some older thriller movies! Prop design feels well done with a strange mystery to solve. This room is very linear with fun twists and unique mechanisms that I haven't done in any other room.

Our #Mortyfived team did three of their escape rooms at this location, and this was our first one! If you've played "Grandma's Master Plan" with the 60Out company before, this room reminded me of the 80s nostalgia that hits you as soon as you walk in. While the ending felt predictable to me, the storyline was still a blast regardless. If I had to choose though, I still liked Grandma's Master Plan more because of the number of puzzles. I felt as if this room could have more puzzles but maybe thatβs just me! As for the room itself, I really enjoyed the experience because I have not seen these types of puzzles done before and they were fun! There was a good mix of tactile and tech. It had set design and game play, all qualities that an above average escape room should have. If you are going for the Leaderboard, you are not allowed to ask for any clues. For that reason, I highly recommend taking a look at the room after you escape, to fully appreciate the immersion and the references. Four is an ideal number of players but it can easily be done with two to three veteran players. The parking lot is small. I would suggest going during a non-peak time or allotting some time before your escape room starts to look for parking, since this location is in West Los Angeles.

Great room with a story that kept unfolding. There was a good variety of puzzles for all ages and all made sense. I loved the nostalgia of the set designs. What an exciting experience from start to finish! Iβm not spoiling this room, go check it out and find out about the Garrettβs!!!

The atmosphere was next level. From a hushed environment to exhilarating to weird, this room takes you on a journey. The storytelling is phenomenal. The ending leaves your thinking. Be ready to make connections between many elements on your way to find out what happens to the Garrettβsβ¦!

Sophia made the experience really fun. I'm purposely not going to be too descriptive, but I'm seeing that other people have mentioned the 80's, so I'll just say, this escape room TOTALLY transported me to the 80's. The story and the environment was next-level. And we encountered some INTERACTIVE puzzles that were unlike anything we've seen in other escape rooms.

This was a cool room, especially if youβre keening for some period nostalgia. I didnβt actually like it as much as Maze Roomsβ Avalanche, with which it has some similarities, but it definitely has its own fun twists and turns.

The set design for this one is beyond cool. The use of household appliances of yesteryear immediately immerses you in the 80βs as they intended. It felt like neither the puzzles nor setting took precedent over the other because they melded so well together. The last puzzle, as usual, gave me and my friend a run for our money but we pulled through in the end with no clues. Though the ending wasnβt a great βsurpriseβ for me, it was satisfactory for the room as a whole.
