A Haunted Mansion

The Escape House 2 - Grand Junction

Escape room
IRL

As a big HM fan this room is everything I could’ve wanted! A little warning that if you’ve seen the movie recently the endings a bit predictable but it won’t ruin the experience. Lots of recognizable names and cool puzzles

Terrifier [Season 2025] - Closing Nov 3

Halloween Horror Nights

Haunted house

Never saw the movies but liked the house a lot. There were some really great tricks used to catch you unawares and lots of spooks. Wet path changes day by day so if you go multiple times don’t expect it to be the same every time

Long wait, cool atmosphere. I’m 5’2 though and most of the scares at the end happened above my head. Was fun though

The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks - Closing Nov 3

Halloween Horror Nights

Always has the shortest wait, has some good scares and amazing set dressing. I don’t know about WWE but I still had fun. There is a bad smell in one room, so keep that in mind if that’s not a thing you deal with well.

Cornstalkers: Lost in the Maize

The Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford Lakes

Escape room
IRL

Fun escape room, definitely pretty spooky. The puzzles are fun, the scary moments are heart pounding, and the characters are fun. I’d gladly do this one again once I’ve forgotten some of the puzzles!

Stranglewood Estate: RePossessed - Closing Nov 1

Howl-O-Scream - Tampa Bay

Haunt
Haunted house

It’s a fun house! The actors are having fun with it, it gets better every year and it’s definitely one of the longer ones too. Great time!

Sawgrass Slaughter: Legend of the Skunk Ape - Closing Nov 2

Howl-O-Scream - Tampa Bay

Haunt
Scare zone

Kind of a silly premise, you can tell (at least the actors I heard yelling) we’re having a little fun. Not very spooky but fun

The Pestilence - Lazarus Strain - Closing Nov 1

Howl-O-Scream - Tampa Bay

Haunt
Scare zone

The set dressing really brought the story to life more than any other scarezone. It looked amazing, the actors were good, probably my favorite scarezone this year.

Circus of Fear: Killer Encore - Closing Nov 1

Howl-O-Scream - Tampa Bay

Haunted house

Not quite as good as last year but still pretty good

Shadows of Wonderland: Reign of Madness - Closing Nov 1

Howl-O-Scream - Tampa Bay

Even better than it was last year!

Raven’s Mill: Lambs to the Slaughter - Closing Nov 1

Howl-O-Scream - Tampa Bay

A little short, plenty of chainsaws, good set design

M.A.R.S. Mars Alien Research Station - Closing Nov 1

Howl-O-Scream - Tampa Bay

The expected alien house. No better or worse than you think probably. I had fun

Ragnar's Wrath - Call of Odin - Closing Nov 1

Got a few startles out of me, it was fun. They were very good at staying serious

El Artista: A Spanish Haunting [Season 2025] - Closing Nov 3

I’ll be genuinely surprised if it isn’t House of the year. Stunning sets, effects never before seen in an HHN house, other well known and well loved effects, and a fun story. Best house this year 100%

Gàlkn: Monsters of the North - Closing Nov 3

Cool house, lots of cool effects and set pieces.

Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters [Season 2025] - Closing Nov 3

Fun house, could have used more of the titular characters but it was good. Great effects too

Five Nights at Freddy's [Season 2025] - Closing Nov 3

Set design was amazing, all the characters look perfect. Not super spooky but fun. The effects used were good choices!

Dolls: Let's Play Dead [Season 2025] - Closing Nov 3

Fun and creative house, a few Guest Activated Trigger scares (look out for the big red buttons!) and overall pretty fun. The set design is crazy good too

Fallout [Season 2025] - CLOSED

Halloween Horror Nights

Not very scary but pretty cool. Takes you through lots of scenes from the show but doesn’t really communicate the storyline or anything. Had some cool effects.

Grave of Flesh - Closing Nov 3

Was a bit spooky but wasn’t super creative, most rooms looked the same and it’s not unlike houses from the past. However I got spooked so I can’t complain too much
