EnduranceLocktopia Escape RoomEscape roomIRLWhile visiting Houston, I was looking for a family friendly activity for the family and found this escape room that had all private rooms. We were arriving a few minutes late, but when I called, the staff said that as long as we arrive before the grace period of 10 minutes ends, we would be fine (beyond that, they would not be able to give us the full hours). Luckily, we were able to arrive just 3 minutes late. The facility is in a strip mall with lots of easy parking when we arrived on a Tuesday afternoon. The staff was friendly and helpful. We filled out the waivers on the way to the escape room, so that didn't take any time once we arrived. We played Endurance with Adrian as our host/game master. Adrian was encouraging and provided clear and helpful instructions. During the game, we did need three hints, which Adrian provided with just enough information that we could get on track again without it feeling like we were cheating or being told the answers. Exactly what we want in a good game master at an escape room. The room's theme was really well done complete with fog effects at the entrance and ice walls. The ambiance matched the story and the numerous puzzles all fit the theme and story. I highly recommend Endurance. We plan on returning to try another room in the near future.
