The Escape
The Unlockables - San Diego
Escape room
IRL
Amazing escape room—we just barely got out with 5 players (3 experienced, 2 not). Super immersive and there was always something for everyone to work on. 10/10 would recommend.
Sister's Secret
The Unlockables - San Diego
Escape room
IRL
Lots to do in this room, you will definitely need the 75 minutes. With 3 experienced players and 1 smart newbie we got out with not much time to spare (and after asking for quite a bit of hints). Not crazy scary but definitely made me jump a few times. One of the most cohesive storylines of an escape room that I've done.
Arcade
Escape Era
Escape room
IRL
A cool room and gameplay in general but when played with 4 experienced players, some of us found ourselves with nothing to do at times. Would still recommend it, however.
London Fog: The Mists of Time
The Entrapment

The room itself was AMAZING, some incredible mechanics and just really well done in general in terms of props, decor, etc. Our game host was not the most enthusiastic and tended to interject to tell us when we were doing something wrong, so make sure to mention something if you have an issue with that.
Resident Alpha [prev. CSI Lab]
The Unlockables - Kearny Mesa
Escape room

Simple and good for first timers but a little boring for experienced players.

One of my favorites puzzle-wise. I didn't really understand the storyline but the room itself was unique in a few ways
MindBreak [prev. Head Trip]
Clue Avenue
Escape room
IRL
Not my favorite room—some props were good, some were tacky. Played with a few first-timers who did enjoy it, but being a more experienced player myself, it was a bit disappointing. The clues were pretty scattered and had no indication of which lock the codes went to. There were quite a few props that ended up not being important and therefore threw us off.
Mansion Murder
Escapology - San Diego
Escape room

Puzzles were very simple to the point where we were able to solve some without actually using the clues. Some puzzles didn't correlate well and the solutions didn't end up making much sense. Game was very linear, we were only solving one puzzle at a time. Just generally disappointed with the room.
