20 escape rooms
Multitudes of recipes to make (puzzles to solve). Really fun. We could only complete 20/26 recipes with a team of 6.
Yes
You don't have to escape, you have to cook recipes.
Hard if you want to complete all the recipes.

This was so well done and detailed! I loved how different it was and will definitely do it again because there is so much to do!

30 escape rooms
Fast paced exhilarating. One of the rooms I actually recommend more people.

If you are in the Bay Area, this game is not to be missed! Tons of puzzles, so plenty for everyone to do. Fun theme and great set design and use of tech.

So good! Non-linear room where you find and solve as many puzzles as you can within the time limit. Benefits from divide and conquer mentality.

We ran ragged trying to find all the ingredients and recipes, and loved every minute of it!

Absolutely fantastic. I've never played a game like this one before. Not only are you finding the recipes, then you have to find the ingredients, too.

High tech
There are high tech and mechanical elements to this one... though I would put it in the "high tech" category.

I think we had 5, and that seems pretty good.

I think children who are too young will either be overwhelmed or will be frustrated by the difficulty of these puzzles. (They are very difficult.)

This game had no stairs and only one thing to climb or crawl through. If there is a group with one typically-abled person, then that shouldn't be a problem. It is a kitchen, so imagine the way a person would need to move through a kitchen.

Shout-out to Eddie, awesome GM and experience. This game truly holds up to the hype. Smorgasbord of puzzles and frantic fun. I would highly recommend playing this game, probably best at Omescape. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

Great gameplay, but definitely requires quick thinkers. Lots of running around and yelling to each other from across rooms, so people who have trouble tuning out noises while focusing may struggle. Not a linear storyline, just many small puzzles to solve but getting them all was super satisfying. We did have to get hints a couple of times but I think with one or 2 more people (we played with 4), we would have gotten everything without help. Steep learning curve to understand how to identify and solve puzzles, but once we got going we really flew through them. Wish we could play again!

Let me start by saying we plan to do this escape room again sometime with a few more people. We did it with 3 of us and we had so much fun but we feel like it wasn't quite enough bodies. We walked into a huge room that is almost an as-salt (lol) to the senses in a good way. We were mesmerized. Highly recommend this room with at least 4-5 people. It is chaotic and fun and you can have multiple players doing different things at the same time.

Definitely different from any room we've done before or since.

We did it with 3 and felt we could have used a couple of more, but we did OK.

Accessible by wheelchair in most of the room but there are some items that will not be within reach if sitting.

βIf I could award Michelin stars for escape rooms, Undercooked would earn three.β
