The Curious Elevator of Mr. Hincks is a great example of doing a lot with a little in terms of components. The high quality design and elegance of the components made for some super fun moments that combined 2D design with 3D manipulation, especially in one very fun and surprising moment. It’s a genuinely charming game, from its humor to its inventive twists on word puzzles to its creatively designed interface - whether you are a first time escape room player or an enthusiast, you’ll find something you love in this game.

The Curious Elevator of Mr. Hincks is a joy to play. The clever mix of beautifully crafted physical game components and the quirky online Elevator creates a unique experience that offers bags of fun and charm. Past and current residents of Hincksville will find themselves right at home, while new residents will fall in love with the brilliant puzzles and inventive wordplay. This has been my absolutely FAVORITE tabletop escape room/ puzzle game to date! I’ve done quite a few puzzle games, but man, this was one of the few where I was genuinely bummed to finish because I didn’t want it to end. Just the right amount of whimsy, materials that feel “real” and immersed me fully in the story, and top notch puzzles. Every puzzle had a logical answer that felt satisfying, and there was a variety of types of puzzles & difficulties that worked well for me. I can’t wait to try more games from this company. Hands down the best puzzle game I’ve had the joy of playing.
