The Occult Museum, privately owned by Ed and Lorraine Warren is being opened for public viewing for the first time. The famous paranormal investigators have accrued quite the collection of possessed artifacts and supernatural relics over the years. Being quite skeptical, you and your friends decide to take a visit to see what all the fuss is about; I mean after all it is just a museum…. isn’t it?

Wow wow wow. One of the best horror escape rooms I’ve ever done. The atmosphere is perfect and the scares are fantastic. The puzzles are a perfect level of challenge for more experienced escapees. I don’t have a single negative for this experience. If you’re looking for a great room that will give you a fright this is one of them

The room was very good in terms of detail, atmosphere, it was well thought out and the puzzles were rather tricky (which I really liked). I would have liked the experience more if it wasn't for these 2 reasons: 1. Some of the puzzles are a bit convoluted and fiddly. I'm not going to spoil it but we got stuck with a puzzle where it was difficult see and there was a red herring that was a little too misleading 2. I probably could have ignored the previous reason if it wasn't for the fact that we didn't get to finish and the game masters didn't clue us that we were behind and wouldn't finish. Ive done countless escape rooms and the game masters communicate with you if you are behind and would like a clue. I would have much rathered 10,000 clues if it meant that we'd get to experience the whole room. Additionally they said they'd give us extra time since we didn't finish. They gave us a minute then the game master just walked in and walked us through the experience of what we missed out on. The disappointing thing is that the ending puzzles seemed very cool, creepy and probably the best part of the room. Ultimately room was fantastic and definitely challenging, staff were nice, the previous reason just left a sour taste for the whole experience.

This room is what a challenging room should look like. The puzzles flowed into one another seamlessly with the occasional call-back to a prop or item from a prior room that kept us engaging with every aspect from start to finish. The scares were well done and had me standing as far from every new door as I could. The storyline was a spook in itself as was the opening briefing given to us by the staff that left us already a bit uneasy before our time even began. Truly one of WA's best rooms that I've experienced and a recommendation to all my friends who visit.

A fantastic horror experience and in my opinion the best escape room in Western Australia. The incorporation of the Warren's Occult museum as both a theme and a narrative is such a clever idea, with a series of freaky artefacts and props to make players feel uneasy at all times. Definitely on the harder side, a team of 4-5 players is the ideal of amount to tackle the huge amount of puzzles scattered throughout. One of my favourites!
