We had a lot of fun! It was just me and my two teen kids (we’re pretty experienced with escape rooms), but we also brought along my sister and cousin, who were newer to them. The room was perfect for our mixed group — we were able to assign tasks to everyone, with the more experienced problem-solvers tackling the tougher challenges. While we could’ve solved it with just the three of us, it was much more enjoyable sharing the experience with our larger group.
Gameplay
Gameplay was flow was great, seem like an endless room of rooms. It was not linier with a few open questions at any given time but give than dopamine hit you connect the dots.
Atmosphere
It was super immersive; the backstory is worth reading and playing into it. The ominous great arch mage was played perfectly keeping us on task and encouragement along the way.
