You arrive at a nondescript black door with a green light... You knock. The door slowly swings open and you're invited in... Welcome to Stash House Your group has been invited to a seemingly-normal Koreatown apartment owned by a local entrepreneur to discuss a business opportunity. Shortly after arriving, you discover the apartment belongs to Ray Jones, notorious Los Angeles drug kingpin, and that Ray has a test in store for you: find all the drugs hidden in the space and flush them before the cops arrive or face the consequences. Stash House is a ninety-minute escape experience that explores the dark underbelly of crime in Los Angeles. Does your crew have what it takes to pass the test?

Expected a bit more given the reviews, but it was a solid room throughout. Did this with a group of 6, most of them being new to escape rooms. If you're an escape enthusiast, you'll probably like the variety and difficulty of the puzzles - it's non-linear and having more bodies is helpful to spread out. Very cool clue system. The set dressing and experience could be a bit more immersive, but a lot of creative uses of space.

Certain aspects of the experience felt novel and creative.
Expert
Really nice difficulty and overall loved the puzzles.
A nice mixture of both

Escaped with 6, most of them not having done any rooms before. There's a lot of puzzles so it's helpful to spread out. You could probably do it with 4 experts.
Spooky
Almost not scary at all.

Mobility is important. Some use of color.

Didn't see a sign, no lobby either. I would trust Google maps and ring up the door.

This was a great room. The setup is simple but the way the room unfolds as you play it was surprising and entertaining. Several of the puzzle chains were among my favorites that I have done in a long time. The subject matter is, obviously, mature so don’t bring the kiddos but as long as you are OK with profuse drug references and associated PG-13 rated concepts you will be fine. I mean, not if you fail the room, then you’ll be busted by the cops and that will definitely harsh your mellow. But otherwise fine. Highly recommended.

We played with 4 experienced folks and finished in just under an hour, but 4-6 is the right number. There are multiple long puzzle chains and I don’t think it would be easy to finish in time if you took the entire room linearly. You will need to work on things in parallel.

Drugs, gangs, more drugs, and also drugs. Did I mention the drugs?

Part of the game is on a second story. Part of the game requires someone to crawl and solve puzzles in an enclosed space. One puzzle relies on color matching. One puzzle relies on audio clues.

Allow some extra time to find the door. It is a stash house, after all.

So immersive and fun! Hope they still plan on a sequel!

This game, from the jump is creative, unique and has so much lore built in. It's clear that the creators both love LA culture AND worked to create immersive and unique puzzles with a lot of variety. It is a true non-linear room with quite a bit to do. Our group of 7 had plenty to do and I probably would recommend less than 4 just for the quality of gameplay. Puzzles are varied in style and execution and the space is both unassuming and has good moments that move the experience forward.
Because this is the only "room" from this group, it gets to be a full experience of exploring Ray's apartment. The game lets you pry and be invasive while building the experience of the room as you go. The puzzles are non-linear, creative, and super well themed.
The vibe screams LA Hip Hop and Crime culture and the props/puzzles express that. The elements are clearly carefully planned and curated and contribute to the immersiveness of the experience.
Pham was great- enthusiastic, encouraging and the right amount of theatrical to get us into the story.

Stupendous from start to finish. Cheap for 90 minutes, uses its space and location perfectly, and the puzzles (and the concept in general!) are deliciously novel. It was the perfect difficulty for our group of four. You’re doing yourself a disservice if you’re in the area by avoiding this one!

Aside from some novelty stickers, it’s pretty well hidden, and there’s no “conventional” lobby.

Holy wow what an awesome room! **90-minutes were barely not enough.** Large facility with intricate puzzles and incredibly highly NON-LINEAR . We were 6 people , 4 seasoned people, 2 new people. I would absolutely love another room from these game makers!
Solid gameplay.
So immersive
FAM was awesome !!
Sorry was not as critical, but the room made up for it.

absolutely loved this room. i’ve done a little under 30 escape rooms and this one is by far my favorite! it’s definitely a theme that i have never seen done before out of the rooms i’ve done. it was a really good challenge as well my group of 5 (we all work at escape rooms) took the full 90 mins! if you’re more on the experienced side this room would be perfect for you. it has a lot of puzzles that you have to pay really close attention to figure out. 100% must try this room!
the room flowed perfectly. it was mostly non linear. there was multiple things to be worked on at once for most of the time which was nice!
absolutely incredible set design. it’s supposed to look like an apartment which it did. it was a simple set but anything more would’ve been too much and unrealistic.
Soren was an incredible GM! he was so friendly and chatted with us at the end as well as gave us a whole photo shoot in all the locations we wanted 😁

this was a very tough room. i’ve done a little under 30 escape rooms and this has to be up there in top 5 hardest rooms i’ve done. i had a group of 5 and we took the entire 90 minutes to escape. it was a good challenge though! nothing too stressful about it. if you’re more on the experienced side you’ll enjoy this challenge!

it is easy to find if you pay attention to the description of the game and the website! the outside of the room is not labeled at all so you just kind of have to use context clues to find it

This was definitely fun & unique experience from the moment you arrive. The theming was fantastic & the world in which we played the game was awesome. It's almost what you would expect when it comes to a criminal world & it got everyone involved & moving. This is definitely a must do if you're in the area.
The puzzles were definitely unique & a-lot of fun. Great references hidden throughout to LA culture & the reveals & details were very satisfying.
This felt like a stash house! Loved the apartment feeling that holds more to it than what meets the eye!
Our GM was fantastic! He was very friendly, very welcoming, & was a great host all around!
