You arrive at a nondescript black door with a green light... You knock. The door slowly swings open and you're invited in... Welcome to Stash House Your group has been invited to a seemingly-normal Koreatown apartment owned by a local entrepreneur to discuss a business opportunity. Shortly after arriving, you discover the apartment belongs to Ray Jones, notorious Los Angeles drug kingpin, and that Ray has a test in store for you: find all the drugs hidden in the space and flush them before the cops arrive or face the consequences. Stash House is a ninety-minute escape experience that explores the dark underbelly of crime in Los Angeles. Does your crew have what it takes to pass the test?

Stash House is an LA classic, and one I am super happy to have gotten to experience! It is all about the puzzles, with a ton of non-linear branches and plenty for a big group to work on. The set is not crazy, but it feels authentic and lived in and certainly sells the theme well. While it may not be top dog of the area anymore, it is still absolutely worth a visit to experience one of LAs classics!

YOOOOO! Legit awesome room that makes you feel like a playa just being inside it! The whole building, which is behind a nondescript black door by the way, looks like someoneβs hip bachelor pad home. I was legit surprised this entire room didnβt first exist as an apartment. Itβs seriously a home filled with secrets, surprises, and much harder puzzles than youβd expect for a story that revolves around flushing drugs down a toilet. I love the vibe of this house, and much of it is definitely adult humor. Although most of the puzzles were great and fit in with the vibe, there was one longer set of puzzles that crawled to a halt. There was also a particularly frustrating part where our final key broke after a long, long puzzle. It was pretty much the penultimate puzzle, so we missed out on something really cool. GM was super kind and still let us finish by activating what was needed for us to solve the final puzzle and finish the game. GM also chatted with us after, which was super cool! Overall, the room wasnβt what I expected, in the best way possible. The hype is real yβall!Get your stash ready for a blazing good time!

This is a beautiful set and theme done very well, but the puzzles are very challenging and youβll likely have no clue what most of them are because you really have to split up. I donβt like when my group doesnβt experience the same thing, but the room is done very well. Itβs just A LOT.

Itβs very hard.. youβll need a lot of clues and some you wonβt even ask for
The set is fantastic, itβs legitimately an apartment turned into an escape room.

This is NOT an easy experience. We had four and it was not nearly enough. Minimally Iβd say have six really good players.

This is not an accessible game for the second half. The spaces are very open, but you will use stairs and someone will have to crawl.

Overall, our groupβs experience was mixed. The puzzles were challenging and there were some technical difficulties during our run that definitely took away from our experience and time. The room had a lot of hype surrounding it and I was personally let down by the lack of story. There was not much we could do as a group without the game master spoon feeding us exactly what to do next, which was discouraging. The puzzles were challenging and creative, but seemed disjointed and required lots of delegating of tasks and the work seemed tedious at times. We escaped the room but left a bit frustrated and flustered so that is why there are mixed feelings.
Personally, I did not think the room had a very good flow. And the room in general lacked a lot of storyline. It was in a non-linear structure, which stunted the energy and flow of the room in our groupβs opinion. Non-linear rooms can be done successfully but the flow of this room was solely dependent on the game master feeding you what to do next because nothing inherently presented itself without the game masterβs assistance.
The set design of the main room was fine. The expansion rooms, not so much. The quality definitely decreased as we continued through the room. Not really anything special with the effects either, but that wasnβt something we cared about too much.
The GM was very kind and accommodating. His energy was good and he seemed happy to be there and gave us nothing but positive vibes.
