Grimhilde Mining Corp found two anomalies when scanning the earth; one could be accessed through a mining tunnel and the other requires you to voyage into the depths of the ocean. As newly qualified explorers you must board a GMC submarine and travel down 1000 leagues to an underwater air pocket. Explore this untouched ancient world and uncover the mystery that is hidden within. Can you find the energy source Grimhilde desperately need?

I wanted to love this game more than I did. There has been so much effort and energy put into this game design it’s truly great to get to play for the artistry alone. The game flow is nice could stand to be more complicated but it’s effective. Unfortunately, I can’t get behind an Atlantis room without not real water, it’s a personal bug bear. All in all a solid game that you will leave happy for experiencing.
The game plays nicely with the two sections of the game. I did find the ‘out of the ship’ part less cohesive as the rest.
There are so truly wonderful set pieces and there obviously been a lot of attention put into this game design. However I think making an Atlantis room without any real water is like making a Harry Potter room without the magic.
Nice and enthusiastic host.

There was a real distinction between the two sections of the game which I thought was really satisfying.
The story was really clear and informed the puzzle design which I always love!

Some unique sets and high budget almost theme park level experiences but a bit lighter on puzzles than their other rooms. I think our expectations were set the highest due to it doing so well on TERPECA but unfortunately this room somehow seemed the most worn and glitchy of the three we did.

This is the kind of level of ambition that you don't expect in an escape room! I have no idea how they built this - but what an incredible experience, with the best sets and puzzles I've ever seen. Loved it!

An incredible use of space and theming in this room. It’s often that everything aligns perfectly to make the immersion as strong as it is in this room. The attention to detail is excellent and has features I’ve not seen in any of the 140ish rooms I’ve done up until now. This was a thoroughly enjoyable room and it’s easy to see the love and care that has gone into it.

I am so glad that we managed to play Atlantis before the Escapement Broadstairs closes, which is a crying shame, by the way. This game and company are fantastic. You will be completely immersed, pun intended, in this submarine experience and have the best time. A great range of mental, physical and hands-on puzzles. If you’re able to play before the end of September, do it. Tell your friends to play as well. Tell everyone.
The briefing sets the scene immediately and you are launched into the mission. Everything made sense and flowed, with well integrated puzzles.
The initial set is fantastic, incredibly believable. And it continues as the game progresses, it is a beautifully, lovingly constructed set and game, accented with perfect lights, sounds, effects.
We could not have been treated any better. Vince was enthusiastic, personable, quirky, he looked after us very well and we had a good natter at the end.

The submarine mechanic is great!
The story flows well, the mission is very clear and you really do feel like the protagonists in the adventure.

No, everything was in great condition and functioned as intended. No issues at all.

No, but the GM was in character throughout - the enthusiasm and energy levels of the staff are fantastic.

We all felt like we’d had a decent workout by the end!
The game is accessed via a flight of stairs and relied on being steady on one’s feet and being able to crawl. At least two members of the group need to be able to climb!

Omg what a theme, can’t say much without spoiling things but wow this was something else. We played this and Quartz on the same day and whilst Quartz was more fun overall, this was just so different and a wonderful set that it is truly is top tier. Go to Broadstairs and play!
Omg the sub!
