On your search for riches and loot, you, a gang of thieves and swindlers, end up in the city of Agrabah. As soon as you cross the city limits, you are surprised that there is not much to see of Sultan Saladin's alleged wealth. The fields in front of the town lie fallow, the inhabitants make an ailing impression, and the many beggars do not give the impression of a prosperous town. Solely the magnificent palace of the sultan rises golden above the misery. Rumor has it that no one can explain how the Sultan became so wealthy, and the mystery surrounding his wealth is a constant topic of conversation in Agrabah. Under the pretext of tailoring the most expensive and magnificent clothes in the Orient, you secure an audience with the sultan, who is quite taken with the idea of being wrapped in the finest silk. You are asked to wait in the Sultan's chambers until he is ready to have his measurements taken. So there is not much time to search the room for valuable goods and to discover the secret of Saladin's wealth.
