: In order to survive this mission, The Director needs the bravest Operatives that can investigate and search a scene with minimal to no lighting all while avoiding an unknown paranormal entity. Our HR Team does not recommend this for Operatives with a fear of the dark, small enclosed spaces, solitary confinement, loud noises, paranormal themes, and/or fear of schools. Summon the dormant entity so you can confront it once and for all. Better The Bureau than an unsuspecting victim.

Super fun and effective scares! Had my 17yo son frozen to the corner with fright. Screaming and hilarity ensued! I hope to do their other rooms!

Spooky. More traditional style of escape room

Possession thrives off of its scenic and special effects, and falters when it comes to the puzzles. The atmosphere the Bureau created was top-notch spooky vibes, and the fear of what is around every door was very real. The set was great, the special effects was great, and if I was rating it as strictly a spooky experience I think it would get top marks. However, I think the puzzling was pretty weak overall and it felt like without constant help from our game guide we would have been stumbling around with no idea what to do next. I think it's alright for scary rooms to have less intense puzzling, but this one still left me wanting more. Overall, a worthwhile play if your looking for some spooks but imo not the Bureau's strongest game.

This game was very spooky with lots of jump scares and eery vibes. The puzzles weren’t too difficult but the scary ambiance made it take longer for us to solve puzzles. Very cool high tech in there and great set up! Make sure to bring a brave friend with you!!

An elementary school is infested with evil and your team has to explore and contain the threat. The set is beautifully designed and the game is entirely high-tech. The atmosphere is spooky and everything you find has a reason to be in the world. I should have loved this game but I can only say that I liked it because several of the puzzles are just bad. See my detailed comments for more information. Bottom line, I would say you should still play this, because exploring the environment is freaking cool, but don’t be too proud to take hints if you get stuck because there’s a nonzero chance you are trying to do the right thing but not in exactly the right unclued way.

My review of this room will echo many others' on here - the set is INCREDIBLE. Detailed, thematically appropriate, and worth the price of admission alone. The vibe is undeniably eerie. However, the game length is too short overall, especially for more than two people, and the final puzzle sequence doesn't truly feel like a finale. If you're thinking about asking for hints - I wouldn't recommend it unless you've been stuck for 5 minutes or more, as hints will shorten the game even further. That said, there are some high-tech moments in this game that I haven't seen anywhere else - things that truly feel like magic.

I personally really love this place and this room definitely met and exceeded my expectations! It was very immersive and the scares were really well done! My only complaint with the room is that it seemed that some things were game master activated and the location was so busy that not everything worked when it was supposed to.

The Bureau has so far been my group's favorite place for escape rooms. The combination of atmosphere, set design, customer service, and the staff themselves has caused us to fall in love with The Bureau. We recently did theAftwr Dark service they provide which includes 4 rooms back to back with free coffee and half off on all drinks. My group did Possession at Haddon Heights, Lab At Lochness, UFO: Go for Launch, and Dr. Braingood. Possession at Haddon Heights is one of my favorite rooms that they offer at the Bureau. The use of sound and lighting created a creepy atmosphere and kept everyone on their toes for what would come next. They provided devices that would play noises that elevated the immersion even more; unfortunately, they only have four but even without those devices the room was still creepy. The puzzles were very well made and the story was put together incredibly well. It took a mix of technology, reading for information, and looking for clues that blended very well into a spooky yet very fun room. The group size works very well for 6 people but may be a bit cramped with more. Only one small jumpscare that only scares the skittish.
