It’s the turn of the century, and you’re invited to a race of giant steam machines! You’ll be the crew responsible for keeping the machine running, while your pilot guides you through the race. You’ll only have an hour to make it to the finish line! You can choose how difficult you’ll want your race, easy, medium, or hard.

I had a great experience! I liked the puzzles in this room, its a good mix and they made sense with the plot. I do agree with another reviewer that they are self contained but I did not find this to be a negative. Im not sure if it would change if there were more people playing, but it did seem like you had to solve one puzzle at a time pretty much the whole way through. Lots of GM involvement, whether you need hints or not, which was a unique experience, and the communication is on theme, which is lovely. It was one of the first few rooms Id ever done and I did it alone so I was definitely rushed, and ultimately I was honestly surprised how many puzzles there ended up being to solve. I had a great time and ended up staying to do another room. The whole space is run with a lot of love and care, which I really appreciated then and appreciate now even more having done more rooms.
Good mix of puzzle types. Linear game play.
Good!! Not a high budget room but was clearly built with love and the vibe totally works with the theme.

The owner here is super nice. This wasn't my favorite room at the location. Really cool set design, but I found the fact that the puzzles were very self-contained to be a negative. It lets the GM control the difficulty, but it also means you need to work on only one thing at a time, and it's easy to identify what you need to do because of that

Just a plain fun room. The set design is just adequate and there isn’t anything groundbreaking gameplay-wise, but don’t let that stop you from checking this room out. Even though the set design and puzzle integration into the set was just ok, many little touches improved the immersion of the room such as a time period appropriate hint system and countdown timer. There was a good mix of tasks and puzzles of varying levels of difficulty, and all steps taken were totally logical. The puzzles were also pretty creative and were satisfying to solve. They weren’t just puzzles plastered on to the set, but most were logical steps you’d take if you were actually in the story. The room was almost exclusively linear, which is usually not my preference, but it still flowed well enough. Overall, I would recommend this room to groups of 2-3 at any experience level.
Almost totally linear, and it worked well.
Nothing crazy but got the job done.
Brian is the BEST!

Story was integrated into the experience pretty well. It was more than puzzles in a room and your team performed tasks as if you were actually in the situation.
Medium
We did the “Hard” out of easy, medium, and hard difficulties that you could choose from. It was a moderate difficulty.
Mechanical
Good mix of tech and locks

It is mostly linear, so 2-3 would be ideal
