In the heart of Escaparium Laval's massive complex nestles a mysterious monument classified as a World Heritage Site, forgotten for several centuries: an ancient cathedral. Escaparium was built around this characterful building that once served as a sanctuary for a now extinct cult. Archaeological excavations and restoration of the monument have been underway for several years now. This allowed us to make major discoveries on the history of the cathedral and on a certain cult that we name, "The Order". Artifacts of rituals dating back centuries have been found and are currently being investigated. Come take the guided tour through the myths and legends of a forgotten past. A trip which you will never forget. (this is an escape game)!

The most unique room I have ever done. The amount of effort into building and creating this room is amazing. The game felt like I was an actual cathedral. 9.6/10

The game-master did a great introduction. I particularly liked the gargoyle (not a spoiler as it is the photo).

We were in Montrael for a girls' long weekend, and we did the top three rooms at Escaparium Laval. We were in awe the entire time, and LOVED every moment in the rooms. All four of us did engineering back in undergard (thus how we became friends), and we were just so touched by the passion of the entire team. Between the mechanics and logic, there lies the engineers' sincerity and romance. These escape rooms are really brought to us by passion, and they are beyond my expectations for escape rooms. I imagine they will remain the best rooms I've done, for a long time. I genuinely recommend them to everyone who has a chance trying. The gamemasters are incredible! A++ acting.

What a magical experience! The story, the theming, the gorgeous cathedral, omg. It was so much fun. And I can’t leave a review without mentioning Alesia, our game master! She is one hell of an amazing actress and person! She’s so enthusiastic, so much fun to chat with, and really adds that cherry on top to an otherwise perfect game!

Forgotten Cathedral is one of the most cinematic experiences I’ve ever had with an escape room, right down to impeccable visuals and an utterly insane scale. Everything from the ceiling to the floor is fully designed and blended seamlessly into the puzzle design. The game design is absolutely excellent and very brisk in pace, while providing a nice challenge in certain moments. In addition, there is a story and a narrative arch supported within its detailed set, even down to smaller moments or interactions. This is absolutely one of the best games in the entire world, an experience that should be played by any enthusiast.
Massive interactions with a great flow and many incredible moments.
It’s one of the most beautiful games I’ve ever played.

I might be biased because I don’t like scary rooms (and was expecting spooky not scary) but I didn’t really get the hype. The set was impressive and the actors did a great job. There was one particular puzzle which imo isn’t that well designed and is confusing, and took up a lot of our group’s time and was frustrating (and broke immersion for us). It’s a high bar because I had come off of doing Magnifico and Wardrobe for Sale but I would rank this room lower than both. Again, I’m not into horror so if you are, I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time (except for that one puzzle I mentioned).
Scary

Spooky room and some of the most beautiful set design I’ve ever seen! There was one particular puzzles that was challenging even for the most experienced in our group which was a perfect challenge. There were so many cool transition elements and it was just spooky enough :)
“Experience pure amazement in this fantastic escape room!“
