Temporarily Closed - Opening officially in 2016 (originally as Lessons in Fear), Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse has evolved into one of the top haunted house attractions in Northeast Ohio. We strive to provide a haunted schoolhouse experience near the Mansfield, Ashland, and Loudonville regions of Ohio like no other. Located just 20 minutes southeast of The Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio (Blood Prison), Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse provides over 30 minutes of fear and frights across 3 floors, an ominous basement, and outdoor exhibit packed with freakish, terrifying landscapes and creatures. Originally built in 1924, this haunted schoolhouse endured years of vacancy...it has been rumored that strange noises and ghost sightings occurred through its dark, winding, and foreboding hallways until it was resurrected as Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse to bring you lessons in fear. Do you dare step within its corridors this Halloween season? Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse is back for another year and promises it will be its scariest season yet! Explore an entire schoolhouse of terrors: Creepy cemeteries, a den of vampires, an unhinged art collector (whose exhibits look suspiciously like patrons gone missing), mad scientists, vicious spiders, unhinged clowns, mutated zombies and more await you! Visit the one and only Dead and Breakfast, where some guests check out permanently! Its staff is happy to take your luggage...you won't be needing it again! Explore what the resident butcher has prepared down in the school cafeteria...will you become a part of the menu? Behold the sinister experiments conducted within Contagion Industries...but be careful because the deranged staff of doctors and nurses are ALWAYS looking for new test subjects! Finally, map your escape through the seemingly deserted Slaughterville...is that a chainsaw in the distance?!
