Set design was pretty good, but I think it was the weakest of Enchambered's games. This isn't to say it's in any way bad, though - they have a pretty high bar. The space felt a little small for our group of 5. While most of the game was parallelizable, there were still some sections where part of our group wasn't clear on what we could work on - 3 or 4 would probably have been better. I personally didn't like the darkness or search tasks - both were annoying, and I don't think the game would have suffered without them. Yeah, sure, we had lanterns, and we were able to solve the puzzle without having found everything, but they're still not things I enjoy. The intended purpose of one prop wasn't clear to us during the game and had to be explained afterwards by the GM - in retrospect, it's clever, but I don't think it would have ever occurred to us to use it in that way.

Containment Breach: After a terrible mishap following an experiment, a scientist locked himself away in his lab. Our mission was to break into the lab and discover its secrets. Pros: The set design at Enchambered is A-MAZING. The immersive environment immediately engaged us in the story and enhanced our play experience. The puzzles were directly related to the science-experiment-gone-awry theme. The rooms were clutter-free, but the puzzles still challenging enough to keep us busy for nearly the entire time. The hint system was non-intrusive and perfect for the room theme. The game master helped us with a simple direct hint. Although we needed this one hint to remind us of an obvious piece of evidence that we overlooked, the room really required no hints at all, which in our book, makes it a perfect escape room. Cons: Smaller group sizes would greatly enhance the experience. We recommend playing in group sizes of four for best play experience. Even though the size limits are higher here, it would be worth it to book a less popular time in order to play with a smaller group. We HIGHLY recommend playing at Enchambered when you are in Sacramento. A top-notch escape room experience!

I really loved this room! So many interesting puzzles and a cool flow. We did it with a group of 6 and that went well. I wouldnβt recommend more than that though- the space isnβt too big. The puzzles were cool and some novel to me. We enjoyed it and it felt extremely well-paced
Fun and interesting flow!
A little spooky, but not scary. Nothing scary happens except lights/alarms.
So lovely! Koya was great as was every staff member we interacted with!

Good but not great room. Overall a solid room but nothing that was too interesting or novel to heartily recommend. Good room overall though and we had a great time in it

We played all four of their rooms back to back and this was my least favorite. But, it is still a good room and is better than your standard room at most places. The set was really good and there were a couple interesting puzzles. Unfortunately, we played it last and after being spoiled with three amazing rooms, it just couldnβt reach the same heights that they did.

Low light and the set make it a little bit spooky, but nothing crazy.

This was the first room I ever played and it got me hooked. Everything looked great and was in great repair. The room did a great job letting you know you needed more pieces to solve a puzzle. Great room.

Containment Breach is a wonderful game that I can recommend to all escape room players. It was the easiest room I played at Enchambered, and while I would say it was likely the weakest, it still surpasses the large majority of other rooms I have done. It does not have as much of an issue as other Enchambered rooms with not knowing where the solution to certain puzzles will go, which was nice. The set design remains a staple of this room, and can help the immersion immensely. This room doesnβt display anything truly incredible or amazing, but rather demonstrates an excellent understanding of what makes an escape room fun and hits all the marks required for a room to be truly great.

Vision could be an issue due to the rooms darkness.

A good, well rounded room with some fairly cool puzzles. Quite dark, flashlights were provided but didnβt always work. There was a lot of getting parts of a solution before the whole puzzle is ready for you, which was frustrating but, it was a positive experience overall.

Not a scary room compared to other Enchambered escape room. An easy room for veterans or beginners. The room is quite dark so it was hard at times to see some puzzles.
