You find yourselves in a cozy, rustic cabin in an enchanted forest. Rumors have spread across the lands of a cunning witch who has been stealing precious gems and crystals from a nearby mine and using their magical powers to strengthen her dark spells. Your mission is clear: venture through the forest, uncover the secrets hidden within and reclaim the stolen gems, evading the witches minions and traps along the way. Solve puzzles, decipher mysterious clues in order to reach the mine and defeat the witch reversing her spells. Keep your wits about you and work together, for only the brave and clever will prevail. The final puzzle was broken and we can tell we were asked to improvise to get the correct order, but other than that (and the room smelling like garlic, lol) we had a great time. Thank you for the experience into your whimsical room!

7/10 This game is the perfect definition of why Morty has a thumbs up. This room is fun, it’s cute, whimsical, and the production is better than most, but you’ll forget about it as soon as you leave the parking lot. Some of the puzzles are nice but there are a couple in here that will make you throw up your hands and say “what?” We had a few puzzles that didn’t activate when completed and needed to be over ridden in order to continue. Also, the speaker system that the game master talks through distorts and cuts in and out which definitely breaks your immersion. Like I said, one hand in pocket, one thumb up.

Overall, the room was a very creative and cute theme. The puzzles were a challenge to figure out and there were a few technical issues like the speaker to hear the clues. I wish there was a plot twist at the end like the other Breaking Point rooms, but overall we had a great time.

this room was pretty cute! i must say there are a lot of elements that were very similar to “treehouse” at confusion escapes. a few of the same puzzles so some parts that were supposed to be surprising weren’t since i’ve played treehouse before. it was definitely more difficult compared to the other rooms at breaking point but it was doable! needed to ask for a few hints and there were a few parts where i thought “oh i would’ve never thought i was supposed to do this”. overall a very cute and fun room. i would recommend this to groups of 3 plus.
