Opening January 1 - Stepping into the Dolphin Hotel, you can’t shake the feeling that the air itself carries whispers, echoes of the past. The lobby is sterile, but it’s the silence that sets your nerves on edge, even before you’ve reached Room 1408. Mike Enslin’s experiences from 2007 had been legendary, though he barely survived to tell the tale. Now, you’ve come prepared: a camera to capture evidence, a voice recorder, and a flashlight for the night ahead. The hotel manager eyes you cautiously. “Are you certain?” he asks, his voice a mix of worry and warning. “Room 1408 isn’t like any place you’ve been before.” You nod, your determination hiding the growing tension in your chest. As you step into the room, the door shuts behind you with an unsettling finality. Everything feels… wrong. The air grows thick as the wallpaper shifts and distorts in your peripheral vision, patterns almost resembling faces. A chill runs down your spine as you hear faint laughter—a familiar laugh, one you can’t quite place. The clock on the bedside table begins counting down from 60:00, despite being unplugged. The same way it did for Mike Enslin, back when he barely escaped. The door won’t open. You’re trapped in Room 1408, and the clock is ticking.
