Grandma’s Masterplan was a daunting undertaking that me and my friends heard about and had to see for ourselves. After hearing it was a 6-room, 75-minute behemoth, we knew it’d be a challenge. And it was exactly that in the best way. The only downside was some puzzles had to be operated by the game master which is understandable, it only slowed us up and made us second guess ourselves once or twice. The puzzles were inventive and varied as it took place in multiple rooms which, while under the same umbrella, each had a personality of their own. A key toward the end wasn’t working right which held us up and our GM had to replace it real quick, but when the whole experience up til then was so solid, one bad key did not ruin the room, nor did it impede on our progress of making it out with time to spare. Highly recommend for players looking for an intense, extensive challenge.

There were some highs and lows with this room. It was satisfying solving some of the puzzles. The ones that were annoying were the finicky ones. I recommend a lot of precision and accuracy and patience. We still had fun!

this room needs an update! on the immersive scale the room looks very USED. I think the carpets need an update. Also many of our puzzles didn’t work/ got stuck and the game master had to come in and fix things, which totally broke the immersion for me! I’ve heard this is 60out’s best game and I was really unimpressed:(
The clues were nice, but many were broken!
Very run down:(

Puzzles were fine but a bunch things were broken. A TV screen was broken. A door was already open. The room kind of seemed like it was falling apart and not well kept

This room just felt kind of lame … it was just lackluster , however if you’re an escape room enthusiast - check it out - but if you’re looking for your first experience with an escape room/ go elsewhere

A fun theme and concept! The set design from room to room was amazing and we were determined to figure out grandma’s masterplan. Many fun puzzles that were rare to see in other rooms we’ve done.
