Lab Rat

Hands down - One of my top 3 escape rooms I've ever done. All of the puzzles were so fun and immersive. I absolutely love the set design and how much we could explore. My friends and I still talk about this room to this day!

We had a group of 5 do this room as part of a bachelor party, and we had an amazing time! Ben (and Shilo) met our vibe, and tailored the experience for our group. We were challenged, but also laughing the whole time. Certainly a very memorable room.

Love any game that gives me a treat. The set was incredible, you truly felt like a lab rat. The puzzles were very creative. I’d give it a medium rating for skill level, could be challenging for newer escapers. Overall a very unique experience.

Lab Rat was one of the Escapeologists absolute FAVORITE games! And that's saying something since we are not easily impressed. The game was hilarious and we honestly couldn't stop laughing at the amusing set design and playful puzzles. Even though we felt like rats in a cage playing this game, we somehow enjoyed the experience. Great game master and totally creative storyline. One of the best of the best games! Seriously, go play it now!

We had an outstanding experience at Lab Rat by Hatch Escapes! Great design; novel concept; excellent GM (thank you Brianna) - one of the top two rooms I’ve played to date. Got stuck on last puzzle and didn’t escape - would have with 3-4 extra minutes. Highly recommend!

This is one of the most unique escape rooms I’ve ever played. Don’t look for spoilers other than what they tell you on the website. The puzzles are good, the in-game and environmental jokes are quite funny, the set design is excellent, and the theme is surely unique. Highest recommendation.

I LOVE IT!! They put a lot of effort into creating this room and making the rules more “special”. This room stands out among other escape rooms with a unique theme, atmosphere, puzzles, and props. The GM was also fantastic; he was very friendly and helpful during the game. I accidentally hurt my finger when solving the last puzzle, which was not serious, but the GM noticed. After we finished the game, he brought a first aid kit and asked if I needed it. I was grateful, told him it was ok, and thanked him for noticing, although I didn’t expect him to see 😅 it was embarrassing. We tried this room with only 2 people, my girlfriend and myself, even though the required minimum is 4 people. There will be A LOT of things to do, and we have to RUN against the clock to make it out before the time ends, but it was amusing to see how each puzzle was solved by ourselves. Overall, this room was WORTH IT!!

What a really cool experience! We really enjoyed the playfulness of this room so much and the puzzles were interesting. Our GM Ben was wonderful and took time to nerd out about escape rooms with us which we loved!

my 100th room and in my top 3 now. there’s a reason this game is so highly rated. it has a whimsy to it that i honestly still feel when writing out this review. the puzzles were fresh and the moments given to you in here won’t be easily recreated.
