Absolutely loved this game! It touched on all the gruesome creative factors that I cherish so much, not to mention the “spooky” aspects that are sure to have you cringing. Not for beginners, but super fun for enthusiasts!

This was a fun one! My boyfriend treated me to this escape room for my birthday! We were a group of four, and it was fun for beginners and enthusiasts alike! The environment was spooky, a little gruesome, and some minor jumpscares. No live actor. Fun surprises, which we loved! One of the puzzles wasn’t working but I wouldn’t say that ruined our play. Our GM was fantastic, definitely added to the experience!

Dr. Psycho - Trapped in the room of a psychotic doctor/serial killer, we had to solve the case before we became the next victim. Pros: The rooms at 60 Out vary quite a bit making it difficult to talk generally about them as a group. The set design on some of the rooms (Titanic for instance) is stellar and far exceeded our expectations. Others are more typical of middle-of-the-road escape rooms. The puzzles are all generally logical with some games being more physical than mental. Yet, all the rooms were enjoyable to play and the puzzles mostly solvable. We had a great experience with all of the game masters who monitored our progress closely and provided assistance when needed. Overall we enjoyed our games at 60 Out and highly recommend visiting all of their rooms in the various locations in the Los Angeles area. Cons: We had a few mechanical difficulties in some of the more technologically complex rooms and at least one or two puzzle fails in games where poor puzzle design hindered our progress. These rooms were excellent overall. We found 60 Out, specifically Titanic and Grandma's MasterPlan, to be among our top ten favorite escape room experiences. Do not pass up the opportunity to play their games if you are in Southern California.

This room was recommended by a prior GM who told us he had some input into the set design and the puzzles of the room. We barely escaped on time cuz we were having trouble solving some of these puzzles. Our GM Jessica was kind enough to give us a couple of hints to steer us in the right direction

Room was decent, it has a spooky factor too it but nothing scary. Overall it was an okay room there was 2 things that didn’t work when we solved the clue which was a bit frustrating but we got through it. One comment was our game master gave a bit of clues/ hints to easy towards the end and I think it was due to us being the last group and they were ready to close up.

Great experience. Chandler, our game master, did a fantastic job during our game that made the experience much better. The puzzles were challenging enough to get us to think and the flow of puzzles were clear enough to figure out what is the next thing to work on. This escape room does rely on the searching elements, so be sure to be thorough when looking for clues or the next lock.

Beca was our game master and she really sold the room to us. We just came back from finishing the Wizard's Treasure and we wanted to finish all the rooms at this location solely because the game masters were so passionate that we had to do this one. As for the room, it is a Gen 1 room, which means that all of the puzzles have a lock-and-key component. The puzzles flow well and they all worked for us so it was a good time. The storyline was everywhere, but it came back around towards the end. I personally would not consider this a "hard" room because none of the puzzles required that much out of the box thinking for us. As a disclaimer, my group and I were more experienced players who have just seen similar rooms like this one. Overall, it's the right amount of spooky. There were some jump scares but on a scale, it would be a two out of five! Parking is relatively easy to find on a Sunday night, but I could imagine that it may be hard to secure a spot during the weekdays.
The game play was standard. It flowed well but I would not remember any of these puzzles particularly.
After some time, I think this room could do a renovation!
Our game master went above and beyond for us. She made the whole experience what it was, seriously.
