Ruins stands above the rest of TEGs offerings and for good reason. The space is large, the decor is intricate and grand in scale, and the reveals continue to impress at every step. The puzzles are all logical and offer great tactile feedback. Special shoutout to the TEG team who accommodated me for my 100th escape room and made it extra amazing! If you are in Nashville, this is absolutely the room to visit!

Such an interesting room I've played every Escape Game room and this is the best one. If you only ever try one Escape Game, make this your one.

This room was a lot of fun. There was some tunnel travel, and a bit dark (I'd suggest a mini flashlight.) It was a little scary (not horror just dark and put you on edge.) I loved the sound effects and the puzzles were unique.

This one is really good! Super immersive. Very high tech. If you love escape games where it is less find the combination to open a lock and more the solve this puzzle to activate another part (like Indy Jones style) then this is the one for you !

Rating: 5/5 Awesome room, the set looks amazing and is very immersive, it feels theme park quality. The progression was fun from beginning to end. I enjoyed most of the puzzles and like how they all fit the theme, no random, out of place padlocks. There are a lot of pattern, symbol, and physical manipulation puzzles which makes sense in an old temple. The room is filled with tech but it's seamlessly integrated so that nothing feels out of place. The only issue I had was that the audio during the opening scene was jumbled as if the speaker was malfunctioning. The room is playable with 2 people as long as you're experienced, though I'd recommend 3-4. The room is fairly linear. I've updated this review in 2024 after playing almost all of TEG's rooms at several locations, here is my personal ranking from best to least favorite: 1. Cosmic Crisis 2. Ruins: Forbidden Treasure 3. Playground 4. Timeliner: Train Through Time 5. Prison Break 6. The Depths 7. Special Ops: Mysterious Market 8. Gold Rush 9. The Heist 10. Mission Mars

Holy moly. There’s not much to say about this one, but everything from the puzzles to special effects is just amazing. Definitely recommend doing this one in person; wouldn’t be nearly as fun online. Seriously, though, this is something else. The less you know going into it, the more you’ll get out of it.

Ruins is one of my favorite games of all time. It is honestly worth traveling to Nashville to play this game as well as a few others. The Escape Game is one of the only chains that managers to create consistently exciting, unique, and fun games, and this is undoubted their crown jewel.
