This room was a lot of fun. There was some tunnel travel, and a bit dark (I'd suggest a mini flashlight.) It was a little scary (not horror just dark and put you on edge.) I loved the sound effects and the puzzles were unique.

This one is really good! Super immersive. Very high tech. If you love escape games where it is less find the combination to open a lock and more the solve this puzzle to activate another part (like Indy Jones style) then this is the one for you !

Rating: 4.5/5 Awesome room, the set looks amazing and is very immersive, it feels theme park quality. The progression was fun from beginning to end. I enjoyed most of the puzzles and like how they all fit the theme, no random, out of place padlocks. There are a lot of pattern, symbol, and physical manipulation puzzles which makes sense in an old temple. The room is filled with tech but it's seamlessly integrated so that nothing feels out of place. The only issue I had was that the audio during the opening scene was jumbled as if the speaker was malfunctioning. The room is playable with 2 people as long as you're experienced, though I'd recommend 3-4. The room is fairly linear. I've updated this review in 2024 after playing almost all of TEG's rooms at several locations, here is my personal ranking from best to least favorite: 1. Cosmic Crisis 2. Ruins: Forbidden Treasure 3. Playground 4. Timeliner: Train Through Time 5. Prison Break 6. The Depths 7. Special Ops: Mysterious Market 8. Gold Rush 9. The Heist 10. Mission Mars

Holy moly. Thereβs not much to say about this one, but everything from the puzzles to special effects is just amazing. Definitely recommend doing this one in person; wouldnβt be nearly as fun online. Seriously, though, this is something else. The less you know going into it, the more youβll get out of it.
I know rooms often say they make you feel like Indiana Jones, but this one isnβt joking.
Disney worked on this.

Ruins is one of my favorite games of all time. It is honestly worth traveling to Nashville to play this game as well as a few others. The Escape Game is one of the only chains that managers to create consistently exciting, unique, and fun games, and this is undoubted their crown jewel.
The gameplay is highly tactile, making use of large props and mechanisms. It flows well, and is consistently entertaining.
Among the best sets Iβve ever seen, plus some truly breathtaking transitions.
The Escape Game has some of the nicest workers out of any major escape room chain.
Yes
The puzzles are relatively standard (if well executed), but the set and transitions were otherworldly.
The story was relatively standard, and was not really elaborated on save for the end.
Medium
Some challenging puzzles, especially in the 2nd and 3rd act, but nothing too difficult.
High tech
Only a few locks.

Great room. Expansive, immersive, well-made, interesting, good story. They said that it's only in their Nashville location because it's too expensive to build out elsewhere. That lines up with what we experienced. Definitely worth trying out.

Easy to find if you know what you're looking for. It's a standalone couple of buildings, so not like the typical escape room location.

Amazing room with a cool story. Don't worry that it's a part of a chain Escape Room outfit. This room is legit. Easily one of the better rooms I have played. This is a Nashville exclusive and probably the best Escape Room in the city. I will say Spellbound in North Nashville is a close second.
