The circus looks bright from the outside, but inside, it is nothing but dread. The tent walls drip with faded paint and broken lights that flicker like dying candles. The music plays slowly and twists cheerful notes into something that makes your skin crawl. The clowns are waiting, but they are not here to make you laugh. Every turn pulls you into a maze of mirrors and smoke. Shapes move when you do, and before you know it, figures jump out from the shadows. Their painted smiles do not fade. They just stare, wide and wrong, like they have been waiting for you. Their laughter cuts through the air, sharp enough to freeze you where you stand. The tent squeezes tighter and traps you in its show. There’s no audience, no applause. Just you, and the performance that ends when the clowns finally catch you.
