On your trip to Cairo, Egypt, you and your friends decide to tour one of the ancient pyramids. Really good game! There's a LOT to do in here. It's doable for 2 enthusiasts, but otherwise would definitely recommend having 3-6 people. There are a couple of things that weren't quite intuitive, but ultimately able to figure out.

This was a great room with an absolutely great immersion factor and satisfying puzzles. A lot of tomb ones can be pretty hit or miss, but this one really is one of the best of this genre.

Good production value, fun puzzles, and an overall great room. However, I played it about five years ago (2018) so I can’t speak to recent issues in other reviews (extremely bad dust, worn out room, etc)

Do not play this game if you have any sort of respiratory sensitivities. Do not wear clothes you care about when you play this room. Do not play this room if you can’t crawl for distances on uncomfortable ground. The GM walked in at one point to reset a puzzle and told us to just pretend he wasn’t there. No explanation, time still running. For all of our difficulties and concerns, the GM just said that it’s “not his favorite room.” A real shame since we enjoyed the first room we did here, then any good/happy vibes were completely wiped away. The room was so dirty, there were even some player-contributed hieroglyphics of a phallic nature in the thick layer of dust. Not great.

Great Egyptian themed roomed! One of the puzzles wasn’t my favorite but overall we really enjoyed the room. The Perfect Escape is not to be missed if you’re in DFW.

You could tell the room at one point was top of the line, but years of play and players themselves has really done a number on the room. Puzzles had little to no direction at times and GM seemed irritated the whole time. If you’re a new player to escape rooms it’s a good room to dip your toes into the water with, but for experienced players you can tell where the quality sits.

Atmosphere had the thought there but it was obvious that stuff had been broken before by other players and there was little to no evidence they tried to fix or hide those things

We made one small mistake (mixed up 2 water puzzles) and GM typed “whoa” which didn’t add to stop via us already pouring it. We heard a shout and slam from down the hall and then he came in seeming very irritated. As it felt very much like the host coming in and out broke the atmosphere

This room was extremely well done and thought out. Multiple clues to be worked on simultaneously, so helped a lot with the group. There were several things to do that were not your typical figure out the riddle then input a code to open a box and I thoroughly enjoyed utilizing different types of actions to open things.
