The 13th Basement

It was sooo amazing! It felt very immersive, and as someone who's done probably 50 escape rooms in my life i can easily say this was one of the best i've been to! you can tell how proud and invested the employees are and it shows in the game. definitely one of the best i've done, the puzzles were challenging enough but made sense with the theme. overall it wasn't too scary, but there were a lot of fake limbs and body parts. i would totally recommend to anyone who loves escape rooms and is good with gore

Such a great room! This was my first spooky room and I was totally fine. One room had some gross stuff but our party handled that for me. The puzzles were great, the set design was fantastic and we had a blast. Would DEFINITELY recommend. One of our Top 5 rooms (out of 34 so far).

Good horror fun. Just a good time and not overwhelming worth some new twist.

13th Basement is an escape room for escape room fans. It manages to parody horror rooms yet still employing legitimately fun puzzles. The game uses everything you would think wouldn’t flow, and yet it flows great, which is simply an extremely impressive feat. The nods to horror movies are very fun and the nods to the escape room community at large are even better. This is a room that you should definitely play if you are in Anaheim, and one that should be a great example of how a game can be fun and inventive without being giant or millions of dollars.

This was a blast! This is such a unique room and great to do for beginning escapers and escape room enthusiasts. The puzzles were unique and didn’t rely entirely on locks. Definitely a must do and I’m excited for the future of this business.

This is ONE OF THE BEST escape rooms we’ve ever done. The effects, the flow. Felt like I was in a movie.

By far the best customer service I have ever experienced at an escape room. The owners are some of the nicest I’ve ever met and it’s easy to see that they care a lot about their customers experience. My group talked to the owners for almost an hour after we played the room in which they recommended us plenty of more rooms and haunts. Thank you 10/10 would recommend!

I had been waiting to play the 13th Basement for many years and I’m so glad I did. It is a very unique game that plays on horror escape room tropes in a really cheeky way. I really enjoyed it and especially love that they designed this game and away that colourblind people can enjoy every puzzle. When colour was involved in a puzzle, they had a little note that indicated what colour the item was. There’s also a fantastic moment in the game that I will never forget. Bonus points to the props, which are beautifully made, and a lovely homage to the Saw franchise. I’m looking forward to the new games that they build at the Exit Game OC.

Like starring in a horror movie! This room is scary, immersive, exhilarating, and awesome. Highly recommend, especially around Halloween.
