You have been hired as private investigators to gather evidence against a suspected serial killer. After hearing of several missing persons alerts, it is time for you to step in and finish this hunt for the truth. Investigate Ted Gein's apartment, and bring the criminal to light in order to receive payment for your service. Manage the two on-going investigations and you'll be successful in this horror escape room. As a bonus in this horror escape room experience, you will record footage that you will be able to keep with you after the game! Discover as much as possible about the killer while fighting a clock as you gather evidence. Try to find out not just what he did, but also what he is.. While struggling to find evidence against the killer, you must also bring hard evidence of missing persons in order to get paid for your service. Manage the two on-going investigations and you'll be successful in this horror escape room. You must also be careful. While there's a lookout to ensure that he is away from his apartment, you must leave no traces behind and be as quiet as possible. You don't know who's listening.

Not a particularly different spooky story to be honest, but the live actor definitely spices it up a lot. A somewhat unique approach to it, at least in my experience. Will definitely be spooky for some people. Puzzles are made slightly more difficult by being a dark atmosphere and how the room is divided up. Teamwork definitely required for a few puzzles. A few "duh" moments for us, but overall a pretty solid medium room. Definitely a few unique moments/integrations that make it worth checking out.

There were four of us and that seemed too many. It is extremely dark (which is sort of the point) and the puzzles are linear. There were a couple of good scare moments, but overall, I found this game to be lacking. It seems by the reviews many people enjoy it. It just wasn’t for us.

We’ve done a couple of scary themed rooms, but this was definitely relying on scary atmosphere! The puzzles aren’t terribly hard, but it’s definitely a challenge if you’re scared and stressed. Fighting over who has to do what and who has to do the “scary thing” first.

I wouldn’t recommend this room. The experience was really not great. So many broken things, even the whole unique part of the escape room which is a camcorder was busted. The hallway you wait in spoils you because you hear everything. The themeing was lazy and bad. The puzzles were basic (except for one unclear puzzle). Overpriced and waste of money

Been wanting to do The Hide for awhile and there was a lot of hype surrounding it. I can see why. It’s a fun game for sure. It is super dark until you adjust to it. There are small lights that you can use but the suspense and anticipation is where this game shines. The decor is meh but it doesn’t have to be top notch with the room being dark. The ambiance, the “lookout” and the suspense makes up for the darkness. The puzzles are moderate to easy. Getting started was a bit challenging. A very fun sadistic version of hide and seek. And if you don’t do anything else, run.

We have been waiting to play this room for quite some time. I’m a big horror fan so immersing myself in a real life horror film was amazing! This game was super fun and would highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good scare. Lastly, no spoiler but this room has one of the best “take homes” i have ever seen!
