It’s the heyday of prohibition in the United States. If you fancy a drink, you aren’t getting it legally. You and your associates run the most popular Blind Pig in the city… but lately, you’ve been losing business. You’ve finally heard whispers about some rival bootleggers. How dare they set foot in your territory?! You’ve gathered up a gang and are heading to a suspicious tailor shop nestled away downtown. Can you find your way into the tailor shop and uncover the secrets within? If your lead is right, you can even teach them a lesson.

This was a fun quirky room that isn’t just about escaping within 60 minutes. Lots of non-linear puzzles well designed for a group of four or five. The puzzles themselves weren’t that hard but there were enough of them to be really fun. Would definitely recommend the room.

GM was very welcoming and in character during our start of the room. Really got us in the mindset and we had a blast. When you get to the main objective of this escape room there’s plenty to do for everyone. Allows the team split up and solve multiple puzzles at the same time. There’s a system in place to get us to try to complete the room in its entirety. Really had a fun and we all left feeling fulfilled once we escaped!

Overall a good looking room. Design and props were definitely really cool. They split the room up with part escape, part objective to get a high score which was fun. Downside with this room is that it heavily relies on locks, like a lot of locks. Nothing wrong with locks and some of the ways to find the solution was clever, but I would’ve preferred other ways of solving puzzles or opening new areas.

I really like "high score" collection type rooms (a la Undercooked @ square/omescape). This one was great! We did need some hints on the last puzzle, I remember it being specifically difficult but once explained made perfect sense. I like the sense of progression in this game, and the set decor. Must do!

The Tipsy Tailor was such a unique experience! Its story flowed well and the decor was immersive. There were even some puzzle ideas that we hadn’t seen before, so it made it just challenging enough but still very fun. Definitely one of the most memorable rooms! Our host was the owner and she was super friendly and chatted with us after as well, so overall a 10/10 experience!

Love this room. The puzzles meshed seamlessly with the Prohibition theme. Without giving too much away, there’s something for newer enthusiasts and for veterans. Jessica was our GM and owns/runs the room with her sister. The care and passion they have for escape rooms clearly shows in how she ran the room and how they designed it.

Overall, this was an amazing experience. I would recommend this escape room, especially to connoisseurs and people who enjoy tough rooms. We did it with three people, two of which are very new to an escape rooms. We all enjoyed it, though I would say this was no easy room. I was overwhelmed multiple times and in the end we got stuck and needed a single clue to keep going. We did ultimately escape by the skin of our teeth. Many reviewers suggest that this room be done with larger player counts, I can attest and agree I think three players was slightly too few and 4-6 would be more ideal. Well done Escapement! I’m excited to play your next room!
I wish there was an option between thumbs up and heart. I enjoyed this room a ton. So glad I did it. A bit more heavy on the puzzles, locks, codes, and keys then I typically enjoy. But still enough fun ways of getting those things. Cool theme and not totally detached. Well done Escapement!
Great detail put into this room. Very atmospheric.

Not terrible but also not easy to find. Was a puzzle in itself lol. Puzzlemaster was great about our lostness
