October 31st 1926 – Harry Houdini has died. Famous for his skepticism of self-proclaimed “mystics” Houdini was famous for taking part in seances in order to debunk these charlatans. We believe that Houdini was holding these events to search for the only real source of mystic power in this world – The Artifact. With his passing we must ensure that any research or discoveries he made during his time on earth do not fall into the wrong hands. You have one hour to search his workshop for anything concerning the artifact. Good luck.

If you enjoy interactive escape rooms, Clue Chase will not disappoint! I will write a brief blurb about each room below, but overall Clue Chase has been one of my favorite franchises in NYC to date. I hope they open a new adventure soon! The one critique I have of the company in general is that their "theme" is based on finding an "artifact" from different time periods, but that does not really factor much into gameplay. However, there are so many positives about Clue Chase, the #1 being their staff! Everyone is animated and excited to be there, and it just makes the experience so much better! You also get a discount if you book your next adventure that day. The regular price is $35/person plus fees and taxes. Houdini's Workshop - Group of 4 Marketed as their hardest room, Houdini's Workshop did not disappoint! The puzzles are interactive and you do need a group of 4 because there are a lot of tasks to do that can be done simultaneously. While we still had fun in the room, we liked this less than Pirates and Gotham because the puzzles were not "good" challenging. A majority of the puzzles were fine, but there were a few red herrings, and it was hard to tell which clue unlocked which lock. To me, a well designed room gives you a subtle hint as to where to look, especially if there is a lot of stimuli. Priscilla helped us through this room.

Love this escape room! Super themed as a magician space and some really neat magic tricks that are puzzles! Casey was super friendly and we loved chatting with him! Highly recommend and we will be back to finish the other rooms…

This room was super fun, the puzzles were creative, satisfying, and the theme was a thread that pulled together throughout the entire game. The elements in the room were a bit well-used, and a lot of the locks were number combo locks, but there was a variety of interesting clues and games to play throughout that kept things feeling fresh. Overall a fun and entertaining escape that I would recommend.

This room had so much I had never seen before, & it might be one of my new favorites! HUGE shouts to Mikayla who guided us through one of the best escape days my team has ever had. We all had such a blast thanks to her. Highly recommend PanIQ NYC for above & beyond hospitality.

This room was really cool where it actually incorporates magic into the room and puzzles! I also saw some puzzles that I have never seen before, which was really cool as well! If you get the chance to do a room, this one is worth it!

Highly recommend for any level of escape game enthusiasts!
Gameplay
The puzzles were really unique and the game flowed very well from start to finish More of a linear storyline which made it easier to know what clues were for what locks and keys Room was spacious with multiple rooms - we had 2 people only and we had little to no trouble completing it

The set was very well done! Apparently the design was helped by an actual magician so very cool!

Casey was our game master and he was absolutely unbelievable! Gave hints and tips only if we asked for it which is exactly what we wanted

While there were a lot of locks in this room, getting the code for the locks were done in unique ways. The puzzles were fun, and a lot of them were very unique. We ended up getting in 5 minutes late because we got stuck near time square, and the staff was very understanding. Would definitely recommend!
