No real spoilers here (but maybe a useful tip!) but spoiler tags just in case.

I hated the second puzzle in this room. (Still in our separate starting cells.) We failed it miserably because a critical number was extremely hard to see: even knowing exactly where they expected the number to be, my spouse still missed it multiple times. I'd be marginally less frustrated if it seemed like a maintenance issue, but we got the impression that it was an intentional design choice. Super not fun. If the motivation was to prevent players from bypassing part of the puzzle, there are more player friendly ways that could have been accomplished.

Edit to add: our negative experience was not our game masters fault. We spent a long time spinning our wheels in the calls because the puzzle seemed eminently solvable so we didn't want to bail on it. The problem was we'd already tried the correct way to solve it, but when it didn't yield the solution (bc my spouse literally did not see the number on the wall) we kept trying other things. Incredibly frustrating but not the fault of the gm, who tried to walk us through the solution when we asked.
