This is one of the most incredibly well-designed escape rooms Iβve ever experienced. The set, props, and special effects are incredible. There was a diversity of puzzles and it really was so unique. However, we were a team of 2 and unless you are an experienced escape room team, this one is really tough for a two person. There was a lot of going back and forth and a lot of information given that you need to sort through, so definitely for a four person group at a minimum if youβre first-timers. But an incredible room and there was a moment where I had to audibly *gasp* just due to the sheer quality of the special effects.

One of the best escape rooms that we have done in New England! We had Giovanni and Joey (I hope I spelled their names correctly) as game masters for our rooms (we did all three) - and both did an amazing job. The rooms themselves are incredibly high production value, with many delightful and novel approaches to puzzles. As enthusiasts who have done ~100 rooms together, my husband and I were surprised and delighted to find this gem not too far from home. UBoat had some puzzles that were deliciously challenging, others that were satisfyingly tactile, and generally just an extreme attention to detail that left us excited for the next room (and then sad there wasn't a fourth.)

This game was really well designed. This entire company knocked it out of the park. Would definitely recommend all 3 of their rooms to any enthusiast.

Amazingly immersive. Very good take on a submarine room.

Great layout and good game flow. One lock failed but didnβt affect the outcome. Still had a great experience.

This room is endless π I strongly recommend a minimum of 4 people. Multiple things can (and should) be done at once. The immersion factor was nice. Also, there was a really cool moment at one point in the room! If you like submarine-themed escapes, this is a great option. I have finally decided that theyβre just not my thing π

This room is a puzzle gauntlet! We played as a team of 2, and we BARELY made it. You are constantly asked to think, move, and make connections. This is the most realistic sub game Iβve played, and it offers a crazy event halfway through the game that makes for a very memorable moment. Your brain will be very tired at the end of this!

Red fox escapes is one of my favorite companies in Boston, and although the U-Boat is probably my least favorite game there, it is still a market standout and a must play. Thereβs a large volume of puzzles to be solved, all of which flow smoothly. The set is attractively built with a few surprises thrown into the mix. Overall, I would highly recommend this game to enthusiasts looking for a challenge.

Really likes this game, and loved Red Fox overall. Thought setting and puzzlers were also very good. I liked the other two games better but highly recommend everything Red Fox does.

βEverything about U-Boat makes it abundantly clear that this escape game was made with love.β
βWe have tried many submarine themed rooms before and this was by far our favorite.β
