Dragon AlleyKeystone Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThe game master, Zach, was easily the most fun I've ever played with. The room was S-tier in both design and puzzles/gameplay. Probably in my top 2 or 3 rooms I've played, and likely the best overall experience. And they built this all themselves, which is extremely impressive! It's production value and gameplay outdo some of the things I've seen built by full on engineer teams. 10/10 would recommend.
BiohazardDeadline Escape Rooms 2Escape roomIRLWe finished all of the games in the other location and saw this one opened up. We went with our 4 YO son on our anniversary. The staff were all very kind and cared a lot about the experience and setting. The game itself was on the easier end, although there a challenge mode we could have done too. It was preferred for that to be the case because it enabled us to involve our son, who is young but has been developing a love for escape rooms. The set itself was really cool. Good mix of tech, mental puzzles, etc. No physical limitations were presented by the game. Overall really cool room that was family friendly and I can't wait to see what they'll build in the near future and come back!
Golden TicketKey and Code Escape Rooms - Reno Costco CenterEscape roomIRLThis was overall a very mid experience. Some pros and some cons. I'd consider this room pretty good for beginners and young kids. Ideal amount of participants would be 2 maybe 3 at most to get most out of experience. Pros: - good for beginners and kids - good concept overall - some cute set designs - nothing overly convoluted and no red herrings that were unnecessary; very linear - fairly cheap at $29 per person -some reviews claimed things were broken, but they seemed to have fixed these things. Everything in working order here. Cons: - Did room with 5 adults and a 2 year old that we had to watch a bit with almost 30 min to spare, so room was a bit too easy for our levels - could have leaned into the theme more with the puzzles. Sometimes felt disconnected.
