Alibi Escape Room
Alibi Escape - Online
Escape room

It was very fun and very immersive for an online escape room. You choose between two detectives and you continue the game between a mix of videos and puzzles. While being for the computer, it was a VR experience as you were able to change your viewpoint within each room. A word of warning, it is a little gory but not overly so.

It was okay. A lot of fun references and cute touches that added to the theme. Bogged down by a few things like an item that looks clickable but isn’t so I spent time opening and closing a drawer trying to figure out how to get the item. I wouldn’t rate it as the hardest if their online games.

A lot of thought always goes into the story of each room they have and that was clear with this room. Some of the puzzles were cute and well themed while others were a little frustrating, physical skills based puzzles can be frustrating time wasters. The decor and theming wasn’t as strong as other rooms although I really liked the end and a few cool puzzles that was incredibly unique.

Organization is key in this room if you want to solve the mystery. A good room for those with a love murder mysteries and brain teasers. Lots of red herrings and items that will come in handy more than once so be sure not to just put things aside once you believe you are “done.”

The story and atmosphere flowed seamlessly, the immersion is impeccable from the set to the sound design. The puzzles themselves were challenging without being all that difficult so players of all levels can complete the room and still feel satisfied. There is a ton to do and find as well as a fantastic ending. Our hearts were literally racing (in a good way) when we reached the end.

The puzzles and the set decor in the room really made it feel like you were down at the boardwalk. It’s a good mix of different types of puzzles that rely on different strengths. There are a lot of puzzles that you can have kids do that will be super fun and engaging while the adults work on the harder ones. The staff were incredibly welcoming as well. Overall, a great experience!

Pretty room and surprisingly creepy at times, the atmosphere was really great! They totally played into the dream aspect with the puzzles and how they themed everything.

There’s a lot to love and more than a few things not to like about this room. A lot of super fun and creative puzzles that really fit well and made sense. On the other hand, WAY too much video with unnecessary commentary or the guy pretending to be scared that really has a negative impact on my experience. A few issues with puzzles where I had the code and then had to toggle (ie: from S to T and then back to S) to get them to open or where the placement wasn’t entirely clear. The set was very cool however, especially the more you were able to explore.

Cute and fairly standard, but well-themed. Very beginner friendly, none of the puzzles were too challenging.

Cute. Very much just going from screen to screen solving the puzzles with videos thrown in, some that were necessary to watch and some that just added to the world building. None of the puzzles were too difficult. Definitely get your money’s worth and seems well-suited for keeping your kids entertained with a little puzzle solving.
