The Light In The MistPostCuriousEscape roomTabletopThis was my first Post Curious tabletop experience, which then lead me to falling in love with the company and wanting more. Light in the Mist is very mystical-feeling as you play through and learn more about the story and its characters. The art is incredible, and the tarot element in solving the puzzles makes this escape box unlike anything I've ever played or 'escaped'. It's a lengthy journey, but endlessly fun. There's even a surprise, non-card puzzle near the end :) want to set the mood even more? When you sit down to play, I recommend some low lights, a candle or two, and an enchanted playlist to softly play in the background. It amps your playthrough up to a whole new level!
Ministry of Lost Things: Lint ConditionPostCuriousEscape roomTabletopThis is a darling experience! The story is cute, the puzzles have good variety to them, and the art is just plain adorable. This would be a great first experience from Post Curious if you haven't played one yet. Though it's a bit simpler in execution, it's an absolute joy to play. Be sure to send a postcard on your trip to the Sockies :)
The Emerald FlamePostCuriousEscape roomTabletopI absolutely loved this experience. We loved the unique use of components and the incredible art. There's some puzzles that do feel very alchemical when using what you're given, and it's VERY fun! Post Curious does not disappoint with any of their puzzletales. I'll for sure be ordering some refill kits to replay this eventually.
AdriftPostCuriousEscape roomTabletopPost Curious does an incredible job with immersion and wonder with each of their boxes. Adrift is beautiful in both art and execution. The components are impressive in quality, and it feels so satisfying to complete a segment and open the next envelope. If you're new to tabletop escape experiences, any Post Curious title will set the bar very high!
Mystery Night Boxes: Peculiar TimesThe Lodge of Lazarus CroweEscape roomTabletopI completed all three of the different boxes each on a different day. They're fun! Some of the puzzles are a bit challenging, with certain ones not having enough context clues to figure out what to do exactly; we did need to ask for hints a couple of times (maybe once or twice each, I can't remember). The storyline of the boxes are adjacent to Stranger Things. I believe you don't have a time limit with the boxes, so you have some wiggle room to solve at your own pace. This experience gives you a chance to try out the Lodge's tasty food and beverages, too. Very fun overall.
