Mystery of the Lost WatcherThe Lodge of Lazarus CroweEscape roomIRLMuch more logic-forward than the other Lazarus experiences, with a whole 'Pepe Silvia' board to peruse in the search for answers. Will not spoil how the room is revealed, but it is VERY cool! It uses a piece of the lodge that has been so unassuming for the last several years.
The Secrets of Sherlock’s StudyOak & Iron Golf + ProvisionsEscape roomIRLI appreciate that Fergus Falls has some escape rooms! The effort and time put into the puzzles really shows. Despite escape rooms not being their sole focus, they did not undercut the experience by any means. Very worth it to come and play, and I do want to try out their other rooms, too :)
Mad Tea PartyZero Hour Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis was a very cool room. The way it was decorated made the experience very immersive, and the puzzles worked well with the game design. You are split up at the beginning of the room, so I guess be mindful of that if you've never done an escape room before.
Who Stole Mona?Escapology - BurnsvilleEscape roomIRLThis one was fun! They did a great job with the set design and how the puzzles integrate within the space. Definitely worth a playthrough.
A Brief CaseThe Lodge of Lazarus CroweEscape roomIRLPretty linear and straight forward, but I love that you get to use so many interactive contraptions around the lodge that were a mystery before. Using and unlocking the actual briefcase adds a lot of charm, too. Though a short experience, it's a fun snippet of the lodge to experience either on a whim, or to do after a normal room.
The Quest for ExcaliburLock and Key EscapeEscape roomIRLHands down the best Camelot-themed room I've played. It's beautifully executed in both set design and puzzle experience. There are a lot of fun little surprises you'll encounter when solving some of the puzzles that adds to the immersion as well. I'd definitely replay this if a different group would be interested in trying it out.
The Roze Museum: HeistZero Hour Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis room was pretty good! The puzzles were straightforward and linear.
The CaveStillwater Escape Co.Escape roomIRLThis is a very cool room. Everything from the set immersion, props, puzzle designs, and story integration made it an exceptional experience.
Connolly’s OfficeStillwater Escape Co.Escape roomIRLCute little room with a fun ambiance and smart puzzle design. I'd recommend this one as a good beginner room.
Jackpot! - CLOSEDMission ManorEscape roomIRLI loved how this room is off the beaten path when it comes to solving puzzles. There isn't a combo or key lock in sight; just working with your environment to find what's next. Very, very fun and engaging experience.
Countdown - CLOSEDMission ManorEscape roomIRLPretty fun room! The space is very large and 'bunker' feeling. It may not feel like much as far as atmosphere, however the puzzles were well-designed and fairly challenging.
Impossible MissionLock and Key EscapeEscape roomIRLI was instantly grabbed when we first walked in, as it was set up like a Blockbuster or a Mr. Movies!! Totally unexpected. It really amped up my excitement to explore and solve the rest of the room. I'll admit, a knock-off 'Mission Impossible' theme isn't my first choice with a room's theme, but making it much more approachable/relateable to people allowed it to let players build some additional thrill to the experience.
Asylum - CLOSEDMission ManorEscape roomIRLThe gameplay and atmosphere complimented each other very well with this one. The room isn't scary, but I would say it has a mildly creepy aire to it, which is quite fitting for an asylum-themed experience.
UtopiaLock and Key EscapeEscape roomIRLWow, what an incredible experience! Such an interesting concept for an escape room; I've never seen anything quite like it before. So many different things happening between all of the sections. Would absolutely play this again.
Off TrackStillwater Escape Co.Escape roomIRLI loved this room! So what if it's on the easy side? The room flows super well, the puzzles all make sense, and there's a sub-theme of cats.
Diamond Dilemma - CLOSEDMissing Pieces Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThis one was a blast. Even if it is an 'easier' room, that doesn't mean it can't be fun. The space was well-designed, the puzzles flowed well, and there were some cool surprises to unlock as you progressed through the puzzles.
Inheritance - CLOSEDMission ManorEscape roomIRLThis was a fun room! Very creatively thought out puzzles and decor/props about the room. It flowed very well from start to finish. Once we were on a roll, it was smooth sailing. We escaped with twenty minutes to spare.
Sally's SaloonKato Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis one was very fun. The set and props were very well done, and the puzzles worked so well throughout the space. It's Kato's hardest room, but you'll have fun with it.
Escape From The 80'sKato Escape RoomEscape roomIRLI thought this one was pretty fun. The puzzles were well thought out and some were pretty clever. It's an enjoyable room that could be a good second room to try if you're wanting to get more into escape rooms.
The Oracle - CLOSEDKato Escape RoomEscape roomIRLCute little room! It's a short, one-room experience that's timed for a half an hour. We escaped with eight and a half minutes to spare. I feel like more escape rooms should have an easy intro room like this for people who are brand-brand new or unsure of what to expect. It's a great idea, honestly.
