You can’t over state just how great the team at BB are, you’ll be made to feel welcome without it feeling staged. The game is great with the unique theming you get from these guys. Doable in medium or hard modes. We rinsed the medium one in good time so they let us have a go at the extra “hard clues”
Robbingham Blinders: Race Day RobberyEscape Rooms BeverleyEscape roomIRLAll in all, just didn’t like this room. But the GM and Company are great so definitely it suggesting to avoid. For us, there was just too much to do and in a busy game like that, you don’t need the extra, obtuse twists on clues. A bit easier when there’s lots to do makes it way more engaging. Heist style with novel theming but ultimately, still that style which some love, others don’t.
The Debtors of 1850Inveraray JailEscape roomIRLA really wonderful room. Not too complicated and flows nicely. Some great neat touches and decor was good and immersive. We did this as a family and everyone managed to do something. Would definitely recommend.

The Goblins of ToadsmeadBeverley BreakoutEscape roomIRLAnother wonderful game from the team at Beverley breakout made all the better by their wonderful, welcoming team. Setting is akin to a popular child wizard. No red herrings, lots of old school locks but also some clever tech for puzzles closer to the end. Just an all round wonderful room were nothing was out of place, contrived or pointless.
Operation HerculesMission ClassifiedEscape roomIRLReally nice, Gen 1, tidy, red herring free, mostly linear room. Bright and tidy. All in all would be a perfect first / low experience room. Great, friendly hosts, will return when they open further rooms.
Operation E.L.F.Escapologist CleethorpesEscape roomIRLLike all of Matt’s rooms at Escapologist, there’s loads to do and all unique, well thought out clues. GMs and hosts second to none and an on site bar make this one of those rare treat places where you don’t just stroll in off the street and then back out again 60 minutes later.
Area 51.5The Escaporium Halifax - The MillEscape roomIRLWhat a beautiful, wonderful room. Very difficult for 2 even with the time extension (and we’re 100+ rooms). GM clued us a fair bit but it was needed to be fair. Still a fair bit to do by the time our clock ran out. Great theme, clever puzzles - just so much to do !
