The more people you have, the less running around, but the less engaged you may feel. Very doable with 2 people, but probably both need some escape room experience. I'd say 4 would be the optimal amount of people.
Serial Killer – The ButcherElusive Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLGood room, very immersive and creepy. Atmosphere 10/10. Puzzles: 7/10 - clues for locks were a bit uneven, some painfully obvious, some needing a bit of game master hand-holding. Clues given for our group were VERY specific, which makes me believe those 2 are a bit unintuitive. Overall - 8/10
The ApothecaryThe Lodge of Lazarus CroweEscape roomIRLThis is an easier room with limited puzzles. It took a bit to work out the break-in for the room, relatively linear, but a fun room for a quick-ish solve if experienced and not a bad intro game I think.
SubmergedEscape OshkoshEscape roomIRLGood room, maybe not the best for first timers, but I'd say its a solid intermediate or fanatic puzzle. Just me and my escape room partner, we got out without much difficulty. Lots of small, quick puzzles that are intertwined. Game is touted as fully non-linear and while the game as a whole has a final puzzle that doesn't matter what order you did things in, there are puzzles you need to complete to unlock further puzzles, so there is still some structure and linearity to it.
