Grimm Up NorthEnigma Live Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis room is a 75 minute experience. Your main goal is to retrieve 3 pieces from 3 key fairytales. After that you can use the remaining time as a collectathon type game to try and retrieve as many happy evers as possible. We completed the main quest objective in 64:12. The room is incredibly well themed and very cool! Lots to sink your teeth into but some puzzles that can be time consuming as a team of 2 – that's down on how we prefer to play too though. It was a bit tricky at times to know what was the main quest and what we wouldn't be able to do until after on for the collectathon section. Overall we had a fantastic time and the room and host was brilliant. It's so great to see Enigma constantly knocking it out of the park with solid rooms across their different locations.
Murder MotelEnigma Live Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWe always are a bit apprehensive about rooms with a horror/scary theme – the host did an amazing job of describing this one, it's just like Dexter! So whilst you're investing a crime scene type area, it's not scary. So don't hesitate to book and enjoy! It's their oldest room but it's holding up incredibly well. It all flows well and the puzzles were fun. Another great job from Enigma

It's so nice to see an independent business that is always adding new rooms but without dropping the quality or fun factor. Keep up the amazing work! We played the medium/hard version of this so after you accomplish your main goal of retrieving the whoopoe cushion. We did this in about 37 minutes. You can then keep on playing to collect as many stink bombs as possible in the remaining time you have left. We got 11/12 as I failed with one step of one of the puzzles 😅 We loved that it was clear the area the stink bombs would be in so that you don't waste any time on this area before you can. Loved it!
CarfaxCave EscapeEscape roomIRLLoved this room! It’s in an actual cave which really lends to the Dracula theme. Some lovely puzzles in this and all flowed really well. Great atmosphere, no live actors so this isn’t scary ☺️

We are a big fan of their rooms so booked in as soon as we could and it didn’t disappoint.It is really immersive and engaging, it really feels like you are at a fun fair. It’s charming, warm and has soul - isn’t your traditional key and lock. The puzzles are mostly intuitive - the moments we got stuck were user error!Room is well set with the theming, props and noise. If you don’t live near Wakefield then you should absolutely book a hotel and travel for Marv, Loudini and Outatime. 3 of the best rooms in the UK. There is another element in the room for collecting cash. You may want to not trigger the ending until you are sure you’ve found as much as you can :)
