The biggest issue with these games is that they're completely illogical and unintuitive as to where the next puzzle is or where to input the solution or objects you've found. The puzzles don't flow and it's not clear where to go next or what else has unlocked in the room. Game is mostly probing and searching, with some puzzles mixed it. Puzzles are mostly trial and error style, coupled with the constant probing and searching of rooms, makes the gameplay extremely tedious. Game is way too expansive and way too long. Hints are not helpful when you are lost in the building and don't know where to go next. No progress bar so the game seemed to just drag on and on forever.

Other times I’ve deciphered the code but would have no idea where to enter it or what to do next, and this is because I can’t see what other area might’ve opened when I solved the puzzle. Hints are pre-programmed and are no help whatsoever when you’re stuck and don't know where to go next. There’s a ton of searching and examining intricate details which is tedious.
