The OrderI Survived The RoomEscape roomIRLThere were some cool immersion elements, but the groups are split up in the beginning and one room’s puzzles are less satisfying than the other room’s. Not the best puzzles I have done.
The School Of Magic And WizardyKomnata QuestEscape roomTabletopThis room was still being tested when I did it and there were *a lot* of technical errors. Even if those have been fixed, the room itself was really underwhelming for what I expect from Komnata. All of the puzzles were concentrated on one specific object so you didn’t utilize any space or really any sort of immersion. Might be good for children, but was definitely not good for advanced escape room players.
Zombie v.2Escape Hotel HollywoodEscape roomIRLThe room itself was great immersion, but the puzzles had a lot of technical difficulties or needed to be done in a very specific way that wasn’t super intuitive and made us get stuck when we had the right idea, but couldn’t get the exact right execution.
Passport To Iron CityAlita ExperienceEscape roomIRLI wouldn’t really call this an escape room - more like a jumbled assortment of arcade games that was confusing to navigate.
Mission: MarsThe Escape Game - MinneapolisEscape roomIRLI usually love both space and escape rooms, but the puzzles didn’t feel super clear or cohesive to me in this room.
The Pharaoh's TombThe Perfect EscapeEscape roomIRLThis was a great room with an absolutely great immersion factor and satisfying puzzles. A lot of tomb ones can be pretty hit or miss, but this one really is one of the best of this genre.
The Ice CaveDaydream Adventures - DanforthEscape roomIRLThe set design in this was very beautiful, but the puzzles didn’t really seem to follow any linear pattern and seemed a little jumbled at times. It also felt sometimes like there wasn’t enough for everyone in the room to be doing.
Escape from the TowerSecret City Adventures - Casa LomaEscape roomIRLI’ve done different escape rooms at Casa Loma and you really can’t beat the environment of it. Traversing through a castle during an escape room is undeniably cool. This one also incorporated puzzles better into it than other rooms I’ve done here, but also seemed to have less of a compelling story so you have trade offs.
King Of The BootleggersSecret City Adventures - Casa LomaEscape roomIRLI absolutely loved this room. It is so cool getting to traverse through an actual castle while doing an escape room and the actress that I ended up following was phenomenal. The storyline and puzzles change based on which of the live actors you’re following and I’m sure that there are varying levels of satisfaction you get from that, but I really enjoyed my storyline. It is a little strange though that since the group is split up, you will never be doing parts of a different room. Not my favorite aspect of it, but still enjoyed it a lot. More heavy on immersion, theme, and storyline than puzzles though. The puzzles were a bit weak.
Save The FleetEscape UEscape roomIRLI had done their Asylum escape room prior to this and had high expectations because I loved that room so much, but this one just didn’t measure up. It wasn’t as immersive and the puzzles weren’t as satisfying.
