The set design and decoration is absolutely immersive, the puzzles balance between brainy and psychical, and the scale feels so massive even though it’s only three rooms. Zephyr was an excellent guide!

The Seals of MidnightSure Lock Escapes - Stout Oak Adventuring Guild (Kent)Escape roomIRLPITCH. BLACK. It’s not just dim in there. Expect to feel around blindly for the puzzle elements. All the puzzles are straightforward once you find all the elements, yet still very satisfying to complete. Ben was an excellent game wizard, friendly and talkative both before and after, and downright terrifying inside the room, until we asked him to stop. I definitely started hallucinating walls before the end and apparently that’s a thing that happens in total darkness. So be ready for that, it’s not part of the puzzle 😬

Complicated enough to tickle your brain but simple enough to make you feel competent. August was friendly and diligent, and very helpful with a hint when we got stuck once. Wonderful experience all around, and we immediately booked another escape for the next day!
Dive To AtlantisThe Escape Artist - West SeattleEscape roomIRLNow, this is our least favorite so far of the Sure Lock escapes. That said, it was still well-made. The submarine was stuffy and hot, which gave it an offputting vibe and we had to spend quite a bit of time in it. A couple things were broken (the Ballast light and the Aim Left lever) which didn’t block our puzzles but still didn’t feel good. Our guide Monica did great, and her energy was really enjoyable. I’d say, don’t make this your first Sure Lock experience but it’s a solid weekend outing nonetheless.
