This was such a fun room and my brother and I (both experienced escapers) managed to successfully escape just the two of us without too much difficulty and time to spare. Decor and atmosphere were awesome and really made the best use out of a fairly small space. Puzzles were super fun. One puzzle in particular has the potential to be a time sucker but we lucked out and got it on our second try. I would highly recommend this room for pros and rookies but would probably be best if at least two pros accompanied rookies and definitely a team no bigger that maybe 4 or 5 players, as the space is rather small and I can imagine it would be pretty crowded, not to mention annoying, when trying to solve puzzles in that space.

My brother and I (both experienced escapers) played this room after one of Game Over’s other rooms, School of Magic (which we both loved) and so, we both had really high hopes. Unfortunately, we found this room to be rather tedious with stunted gameplay flow. And a lot of the issues stemmed from the room having very low light and we were only provided one flashlight between the two of us. The room was actually so dim that even the provided light source was barely adequate in helping us to see well, which ended up causing us to miss several things required to move forward. Also, for one puzzle, the hint system told us one thing but then when we actually spoke with the GM, she told us the solution was the complete opposite of what the pre-recorded video told us. Oh, and the little neon notepad we were provided did not have a writing stylus. In fact, they approached us afterwards to give back the stylus and we told them that we didn’t have one in the first place. Lots of puzzles that just seemed to exist for the sake of being a ‘challenging puzzle’ without any organic flow. Out of the 15 rooms my brother and I played over Memorial Day weekend, this room unfortunately ranked at the very bottom, which is surprising considering how much we enjoyed School of Magic. Now, I should add that the scenic atmosphere and decor were beautiful! Also, we had the opportunity to speak to the owner afterwards and he really was a lovely person. We learned that they were a fairly new company trying to navigate the escape room industry and were trying to soak up and take in all the constructive criticism to heart and at this point, that’s all we can ask for. They are well on their way to becoming a fantastic escape room destination in the Houston area, they just need some tweaks and fine tuning.

Absolutely loved this room!! My brother and I (both experienced escapers) played this room just the two of us and it was so much fun. The decor was beautiful and immersive (as were all the other rooms we played at Let Me Out) and the puzzles were just the right amount of fun and challenging. Also the gameplay flowed so well, with the exception of one puzzle (and another player brought this up in a review) where a crucial element was hard to see in the dimly lit room and we didn’t even notice it until we asked for a hint and our GM pointed it out, but other than that, every puzzle just flowed to the next very organically and was so much fun we were sad when it ended. Not a super difficult room at all (we escaped with about 20 minutes to spare) and would be a perfect room for newbies with a couple of experienced escapers leading the way. Highly recommend!!

While my brother and I (both experienced escapers) did manage to escape this room, it was HARD. I don’t think the puzzles themselves were overly difficult but there were just a LOT of them and it was very nonlinear, so basically we would have several objects at any given time and would get tripped up on when and where to use them. It made me think of Stash House in Los Angeles where they give you 90 minutes to complete the room simply because there are so many puzzles crammed into one game, and I felt like this game has even MORE puzzles crammed in than Stash House with only the usual 60 minutes given! (And also I played Stash House with 2 other experienced escapers.) So, I think that the sheer number of nonlinear puzzles also started freaking my brother and me out and we were getting sloppy later in the game. Also, the ambient music was loud and made it difficult to hear our GM for hints. But it was a really good and challenging game with great, immersive decor. You should just definitely try tackling this room, just with more than 2 experienced players to get the most out enjoyment out of it.
