Time Crimes: Pursuit of the Wallaby [Outdoor]

This is a product of covid and a fun idea - an outdoor escape room in which you have elements that you take with you on your outdoor adventure and incorporate with items that are outside along the way! The particular one used little stands built especially for this game that were along the Canal Trail in New Haven. I thought it clever that passerby’s would see these little stalls and see them just as historic placards or art installations when they have a dual purpose as well- you use them to solve the puzzles! Very clever and a good hike too. The scenery is beautiful and it takes you right through Yale. I recommend doing this in the summer evening or a beautiful fall day. Definitely a fun experience if you’ve never tried an outdoor escape room. Try not to do it when it’s too cold out - can be frustrating if you are trying to work out a puzzle and your fingertips are freezing.
