While submarines are a pretty common theme for escape rooms, this is one of the better versions of the theme. I specifically liked connecting different elements from across the room and the video game-like ending sequence. I can’t say I loved it though because of the lack of lighting making things more artistically difficult than they needed to be. I get it fit with the theme and story, but it made one part impossible for me because I couldn’t see. Claire and Gwen were great!
Olivia and Gwen are awesome!

One minor “jump scare” but it’s super telegraphed beforehand

We had a great time joining up with other people. There was a glitch in the room but we still escaped and it didn't affect gameplay. Really innovative and fun with my favorite finale

I liked this room, my only issue is at least at the time I did this room it was not private and we were placed with a family that had two young children that made the group too large and they seemed disinterested in solving the puzzles maybe an age requirement would be appropriate

The puzzle was fun, with an unexpected interactive element (you'll know what I'm talking about once you do it). That element would have been a little difficult with only 2 or 3 players. The room did feel a little crowded with 7, so to optimize I'd cap it at 5 or 6. But the puzzles were fun, there was a good variety, the story was cool, the details were well designed, and the location was well maintained. I do wish TEG wouldn't run the clock while story videos were playing. Overall, yes I recommend playing this room!
With a group of 7, there were moments when it was a little bottlenecked, possibly because of game design, possibly because of the room's physical smallness, and possibly because we were grouped with a family that had 2 young children.

Yes! There was an unexpected interactive element I haven't experienced in an escape room before.

It might be hard to reach some higher elements for a wheelchair users, and it might be cramped for someone in a mobility scooter.

Very cool, but not my favorite at this location. There were a few puzzles that felt like the cause pacing to come to a halt, and I’m personally not a huge fan of high-tech atmosphere. There was one puzzle in particular which had multiple intricate steps, where if you slightly screwed up one part, it wouldn’t work, and you’d have to start the whole process over from the beginning. We thought we had the wrong solution but it just turned out we made one small mistake which set us back five whole minutes. That being said, it’s still a fun room, but if you’re only doing one or two at this location, this isn’t the one to pick.

Straightforward puzzles. High production value!! Easier then spice market. Was in a group of 4 with middle schoolers. Kat was our game master and super friendly!

TEG is held to a pretty high standard, all of their games are pretty good, you generally know what you are getting into playing a TEG game. This game is better for smaller groups, I'd say 3-4 absolute max. We played with 2 and still managed to escape. Some of the puzzles in this one aren't my favorite, and the submarine theme as a whole in my opinion is overdone.

The Depths was a super fun escape room with a fun assortment of puzzles. It’s on par with what one comes to expect from a solid company like The Escape Game. We have done almost all of their games and have yet to be undewhelmed. You really can’t go wrong with any of the rooms here. Our experience was greatly enhanced by our excellent game master, Joe who made our 50th escape room milestone extra special with a couple of surprises. We truly appreciated the kind and generous gesture given by The Escape Game staff.

Really liked the set up made you feel like you were in a submarine, got stuck a few times and knew the answer but kept putting the code wrong. All in all had a great time and will do more rooms at escape game.
Very high tech probably the most high tech room I have been in. Lots of locks that are not typical locks and have to be done with items that are found in the room.

Nice, linear escape room. Not too difficult, just keep yourself organized! Cool puzzles and really fun ending!
