19 escape rooms
The main idea of the room is very good. People who like mathematical and logical puzzles will love this room. Don’t expect an “immersive experience” and a real expert level. The room is aged and requires in some areas renovation. The hint system is based on QR codes and I would recommend using the “bell” to get personalized hints.
Gameplay
I was missing the story. This room was mainly about puzzles, which were not really what we have expected.
Atmosphere
The atmosphere in the lobby and room did not show a lot of “love” towards the gameplay.
Customer service
The welcome was very cold and the briefing was very short. The hint system (using the QR code on my own mobile) was seen as sufficient. After the session, we have been told that the emergency button should also be used for getting personalized hints. We got a final walkthrough through the puzzles but I had a bit the feeling that we have been seen as “we have told you it is hard”.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
The idea of the room is very good. Having a simple white room and combine this with puzzles is very nice but I was missing the storyline within the game.
Story
The story has been shown at the beginning of the briefing, which was a simple single paper without the GM referring to it. The story was not that bad but without any connection to the puzzles.
Difficulty
Expert
Maybe our expectation was not the right but we were faced with a lot of mathematical and logical puzzles. The feedback system (if something is right or not) is partially missing (except at the end of putting different puzzles together (I don’t want to spoil here).
