We finished this room about a year after finishing up Temple of the Laughing God, and were grouped up with another team of 2 people who had never done an escape room before so we were in for a treat. Spellbound is known for their VERY high budget sets and it carries through here as well. There are a few puzzles that would be easier with more then 4 people, and harder with more then 4, so that's kind of the sweet spot here. I wouldn't want to do this room with less then 3 or more then 5 though I think. Especially that first room. Overall, the attention to detail here is amazing and definitely a MUST experience.

This started out as a delight room but ended up being one of the most frustrating experiences of my escape room career. The setting was amazing and really made great use of the space. The decor really made you feel you were trapped in a futuristic hellscape of epic proportion; especially after escaping the first room and entering into the second part of the adventure. The puzzles were of varying degrees of difficulty and really challenged us. Here is the stickler that ruined the experience. There is a large set piece in the later part of the room that is an obvious puzzle that requires a password. We found what was supposed to be the solution and tried entering it several times. We kept going back trying to enter new "solutions". We wasted about fifteen minutes on this puzzle before we finally admitted defeat and asked for a clue. We were then told by the GM that the machine had been broken for a long time and was no longer needed to move on through the game. They watched us struggle over this for fifteen minutes! We were all clustered around that prop for the whole time and not one word telling us to move on. We were solving it correctly but it didn't matter - it wasn't going to do anything!!! We rushed through the rest of the room and escaped by the skin of our teeth. Make sure you ask your GM before you start if the piece was fixed. This is a real shame because it ended our night on a sour note.

There were a few instances of climbing into things and bending low
One puzzle requires climb up on a raised platform (sort of a like an elevator shaft)

It is in the mall/store area of the casino. We had to walk a long way before we found it. Not sure if there would have been a closer place to park

This room was a lot of fun. Highly recommend at least a few rooms under your belt. This was tough with a low success rate. We barely made it but just had a lot of fun
Great room design

We had low expectations going into this game as escape rooms in malls tend to be more of a cash grab but I could not have been more pleasantly surprised with this room!! The set was stellar and near movie quality, with each set piece and prop being distressed in just the right way. Also, we are quite experienced and these puzzles gave us a run for our money!! Overall a fantastic gem hidden within a casino shopping center of all places.
