A mysterious letter invites you to the State Prison to attend an execution of one J Blackwire. With trembling knees you enter the prison. What happened here before? Who's been here before? And does everyone agree with the things that are happening here or are there people present who oppose it? It soon becomes apparent that your visit will be very different than planned. You don't have to worry, because you're just attending someone else's execution, right... Do you really want to witness what can never be the solution?

While this room had a couple puzzles that made us want to scream, we still have to give credit where credit is due. We were given prison passes with our actual info and photos. Great integration of the live actor who very much surprised us at kickoff. Great immersive set and puzzles (mostly) matched the theme (lost the thread a bit on βͺοΈπ§). But this, oh this: They wanted a certain effect SO THEY BUILT A SECOND ROOM. Make sure you ask to see the effect after the game. Brilliant and we LOVE that commitment to excellence! Biggest note is that this room isnβt at all scary. We think itβs rated as such because of the mature content around capital punishment. Escape Couple rating: 5 ποΈ: Excellent room with wow factors (we use a 1-6ποΈ rating scale) If you can only choose one room to do with them, Jasonβs Legacy is MUCH better.
Overall we enjoyed it, though a few puzzles felt tedious.
Incredible set design with one of the more mind-blowing effects weβve seen.
Could have stayed all day talking to the staff.
While the plot isnβt super memorable it was mostly very well integrated.
Medium
This is a medium-hard room. We hd some dumb moments but overall it all made sense.

Lighting, sound, and special effects.

We did fine with 2 but it wouldnβt have hurt to have 1-2 more people running around. π
Not scary
It is labeled as such because of the topic of executions.

And we especially love that it WASNβT our game master. They try to stay hidden.

TONS of running up and down stairs.
Stairs are an integral part of the game and itβs a big space that you cover a lot of.

Our fifth stop on our Escape Tour Netherlands: The Execution from OuterGround Escape Room. A well-themed room with solid puzzles that kept us engaged throughout. We hit a few frustrating moments where we got stuck, though that might have been due to it being our fourth room of the day. Still, a fun experience overall and a great choice, especially for newer players!

For Dutch standards a nice and cool Escaperoom. Not the super best out there but definitely worth the time and money.

Awesome escape room, we did it right after Jasonβs curse (which was also great). The room has a pre-game which was very exciting and increased your enjoyment immensely. Furthermore, the room has great puzzles and layout. It flowed well and made sense with the story. It was very technical and we loved the fact that they showed us how they did a certain effect.

βA good story, immersion, ... realistic scenery with well integrated puzzles and a class finale. β
