July 2132 – Martial Law has been declared in Manhattan. Villains and crime syndicates control most of the major districts. PanIQ Laboratories, now a marvel of high-tech innovation, suffers a break-in at the hands of a mysterious figure. Shortly thereafter, reports of a cyber-suited vigilante possessing time travel abilities begin to circulate. Comic geeks and journalists begin referring to her by the moniker “Doctor Time”. In the ensuing months, crime falls to a low not seen in decades. However, the public is becoming increasingly skeptical of the vast power she wields, and this would-be hero’s methods. You must break into Dr. Time’s lair, discover what they know about the artifact, recover our technology, and defeat Dr. Time – preventing them from amassing even more power.

Poorly themed room, unintuitive puzzles. The worst of the four at paniq.

Everyone was super nice, the room is old and rundown. I played solo and made it out with around 10 min to spare. There are lots of puzzles though and this room def scratches the itch.

Not a fan of mostly keypad based rooms. Some puzzles didn’t make sense and asking for clues made us more confused. Lou was amazing though and I highly recommend him to be your game master! His energy was amazing and was our favorite part of the experience.
I’m not a big fan of room that are mostly keypad based. This room was very much like that and I didn’t feel like it flowed really well some puzzles didn’t make sense and the clues made us more confused. We did really like the energy of our game master Lou tho! He was great and I would recommend him 100% for any game you play there

Cool room and cool puzzles, the only problem is that some of the puzzles are too similar so once you’ve solved one you’ve solved a lot. We had a full room and there was not nearly enough to do and many people were standing around at different points. Probably better with a smaller group.

I personally am not a big fan of rooms with video game elements. I think it removes some of the escape aspects. And in a lot of ways, Guardian of Gotham does not feel like an escape room. It is a room that requires cooperation to get through. On the positive end, some of the puzzles were a lot of fun to decipher and one of the few that could reasonably leave the whole team feeling useful

I actually thought this game was very fun, and not too difficult. I think you sort of either get the puzzles or you don’t. But definitely recommend!

I would rank this game the weakest of the four Clue Chase offerings. It was still a decent room, but it was awfully frustrating. Granted, I don’t love math and number escape rooms as much as other themes. GM was Clue Lou and he’s, like, legendary We def needed some help along the way with this one. Some puzzles just weren’t speaking to us This game is similar to Carbon and End of Days in style, but those two games are much stronger
Very math and number focused
