The Shipwreck

This is a gen 1 room. Our group had 5 people and there was barely enough room for the 5 of us so do not ever book with more then 5. The room itself was decent but we asked not to have hints or clues unless we asked and our Gm didn’t like we were struggling and guided us when specifically told not too. We don’t mind a struggle as there is a lot of joy once you work through it. There was at least one or two puzzles beyond our comprehension and our GM did not give guidance instead just gave answers. I find that frustrating as I still do not understand the reasoning behind the answer and how one would come to that conclusion. I believe she did not know either. Overall it was not bad but was not great either.

This room was pirate themed with some really cool props. Like all Sherlock’s games, the GMs are funny and offer great hints. They have a good time capturing events from the game to do a recap at the end.
